Dr. Anthony Farole

I’m devastated with my results. I was in a bad accident in 2004 that left me with facial scars and loss of teeth. After 13 yrs I chose to invest in facial scar revisions and a gingival flap advancement. After spending 1,000’s of dollars and going through painful recoveries I am worse off then when I started. My gum recession is worse now then before my procedure which is incredibly disappointing. My scars remain the same only now I have fresh scars & less tissue. Mr Farole promised (in writing) using a z-plasty technique to camouflage my scar lines and he did not do this technique. Only post procedure did he explain that instead he did a geometrical excision. Ultimately cutting my old scars open only to sew them back up the same way. I would not recommend Mr Farole as an Oral or Plastic surgeon. He seems to be better at Sales. I never write reviews, but I needed to do something about this experience.

GO ELSEWHERE – I was referred to Dr. Farole through my dentist because I thought my wisdom tooth was infected. I went to Dr. Farole for an initial consultation, which was fine, he said he wasn’t positive it was my wisdom tooth but suggested I get them out anyway so I scheduled the apt. I came to my second appointment anxious but ready for the surgery. Long story short – I WOKE UP TWICE DURING MY WISDOM TOOTH EXTRACTION BECAUSE I WASN’T GIVEN ENOUGH MEDICATION. The first time I woke up in tears and I heard the Dr. say, “we have water. She needs more.” And then I feel back asleep. The second time I woke up to what felt like pliers on my tooth inside of my face and him cracking, breaking, pushing and twisting my tooth inside my mouth. I was so awake that I started to make noise so I could let them know. He ripped this black thing out of my mouth when he heard me, hovered over my face and said “WHAT?” I responded back that I was awake and then heard them shuffling around and talking about what they should give me next. I then woke up in the recovery room. I went back for my follow up a week later and never did they acknowledge the fact that I woke up twice during the surgery, which was my biggest fear going into it. He told me everything was healing fine, went over my entire procedure with what I’m assuming was an oral surgeon medical student (not sure when I signed off on allowing them to share my medical records with a student but that’s a side point) and told me I was good to go. Before I left I asked him when it would be safe to smoke so I wouldn’t get any infection. He proceeded to stand in front of me and just say “never” over and over and over again with a smile on his face. Him and this medical student then started to look at each other and laugh like it was the craziest question ever that I was asking his medical opinion about when I was in the clear from getting an infection from smoking. His response was that smoking isn’t good for you and that he’ll never tell a patient when they can smoke. Never did I ask for his personal and/or ethical opinion on whether smoking was good for my health or not. I asked specifically his medical opinion about when I would be most safe from the holes in my mouth. He could have presented the information to me in a better way than by being a condescending, arrogant jerk. There are way too many other options in Philadelphia and the surrounding areas to have to deal with a doctor like this. I would do your homework and go to someone different. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE THAT ONLY CONTINUED TO GET WORSE.

Thank you Thank you Thank you. Words can't express how much I enjoy coming and getting work done at Dr. Farole's office. Everyone was so sweet, nice and outgoing. Everyone made me very comfortable. Post Surgery I feel no pain and the recovery procedures are amazing. Thank you so much. I wish I could come see the staff every year. Excellent Customer Service, Clean Office, and overall the best experience I have had. I highly recommend coming to see Dr. Farole and staff.

I had three extractions and two implants done the same day. I had no pain and very little swelling. Dr. Farole and his staff made my experience very comfortable. I highly recommend Dr. Farole.

I needed an implant on one of my molars and was somewhat pessimistic of the outcome. Dr. Farole not only managed to give me an implant but made me feel very comfortable and confident about the procedure. I highly recommend this practice to anyone who might be in need of a good oral surgeon.

No pain nor complaints

I recently moved to the area so I did not have a referral to this office. I randomly picked based on google reviews. Best choice I could make. All 4 wisdom teeth removed without issue. Welcoming staff, excellent receptionist. Preciate it Doc!

The staff provided step by step explanation of procedure and were very knowledgeable. I was able to feel comfortable during my experience.

Dr Farole and his staff were so wonderful. I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed and I can honestly say I did not expect this to be as smooth of an experience as it was. Dr Farole was very calming and reassuring, walked me through the whole process, what to expect during the procedure and after. Would definitely recommend to anyone who needs any dental work.

Dr. Farole and his team did an excellent job with my surgery. They were all extremely kind and made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Farole did an amazing job with my extraction and implant. He was informative and helped me to understand exactly what he would be doing for me, step by step. I am ecstatic that I chose him and his team to take care of my dental issues.

I took some time researching oral surgeons because my primary care dentist revealed I needed all four wisdom teeth extracted. After reading excellent reviews, I decided to come to Dr. Farole. He and his team extracted all four wisdom teeth in one shot and the procedure was flawless. I was in pain for about one day afterward and was eating almost normally second day post-op. I was prepared for a long recovery after hearing stories about wisdom tooth extraction, and Dr. Farole proved all of these stories to be false. Dr. Farole is knowledgeable and personable and I highly recommend him as an oral surgeon, and his team is excellent.

Dr. Farole clearly explained what needed to be done to remove my lower wisdom teeth. He answered all my questions. My surgery experience was very good. The staff is friendly and caring. Definitely exceptional service from beginning to end.

Having to have any dental work done its not easy for most people, but Dr Farole help me relive any worries i had before my treatment. He listen with much concern and make you feel very comfortable because he cares of your interest. I will highly refer friends and family members to be treated be Dr Farole.
