Dentist and staff are very nice. Like the reviewer before me stated, the billing system is dysfunctional. Back in 2014, they incorrectly billed my insurance company. We informed them of the error. They did not correct it in time. Now, 4 years later, they are hounding me for payment for the mis billled procedures. Had they just corrected the issue back in 2014, when we notified them of the mistake, we wouldn't have this issue. Whenever I call them to talk to them about it, I never hear back. Very angry and frustrated.

Dr Westernan and his staff have been taking good care of my teeth for over 6 years. His staff and back office is friendly and gentle. He is honest and confident and explains the procedures clearly. However over the last year, with changes in the front office, the billing is not honest anymore, I think out either laziness or incompetence, the new billing person no longer verifies what your insurance will cover for a procedure, hence you will be shocked when you are stuck with paying half of the full cost of the procedure, not the insurance allowed maximum. I no longer go to Westerman because of this. When I questioned the billing person about the higher out of pocket, she said she would have to consult the Dr's wife and will get back to me. She never did, and I never received any credit for the over payment nor any billing statements stating the total cost of the procedures. The same procedure done on myea year earlier before the change was $400 less as they accepted the insurance maximum allowable charge.
