Dr. Goleburn did not know what he was doing while taking the impression of my tooth. I had to have him redo my crown 3 times!!!!!!!! The first crown was damage, and had a crack in it. He didn't want to do it over, but offered to fill in the crack AFTER I paid cash for the crown--$1400.00. The 2nd time, he took an impression, the crown came back as if it was a reject and he made it in his backyard. He put the crown in without checking to see if it fitted properly before cementing it in. This crown was a "half crown". He did not fit all the way to the gum line like it should have fitted. It stopped half way down and he attached it to the middle of my tooth in the inside. The outer part of the tooth was too bulky for my mouth and did not fit correctly. It was too big and rubbing against the side of my mouth. I went back to his office to explain that I did not like the crown and explain all issues with it. He got angry and he gave me a stupid excuse of why the crown was shaped that way and he offered to shave it down on the outside. I explained that I paid my money which was not covered by my insurance and I want it done over. He really didn't want to do it over, but I forced him too. He then took a FULL impression of my entire mouth(which I was later told thats how he should have did it in the beginning). He put another temporary crown on, and the NEXT DAY, the temp crown fell off. I had to go back in the office and I saw one of the other dentist in the office, and he told me that i had a temporary filling in my root canal opening and that Dr Goleburn should have put a permanent filling. He stated to make sure I have him put in a permanent filling in the root canal holes before he put my crown on. When the 3rd crown came back, I brought up what his colleague told me, he got really annoyed and rude and stated that he has looked at my tooth 5 times. I then told him that he's acting like he's annoyed, however, i'm the one that should be annoyed--I spent my money on a job that wasn't done right and I spent cash in this office and expect to have it done correctly. He then changed his tone, and i told him that I'm a patient who was told by another doctor in this office that you should have filled the root canal holes with a permanent filling. He then stated that he has been in practice for 25 years and that is the procedure he uses. He stated that the hole is sealed and since i'm getting a crown over the area, it will be ok and if he had to do his child's tooth, he would do it the same way. Needless to say, it took 3 times for him to fit me correctly for the crown. Like I said, i had to take time from work, and it was a hassle running back and forth to that office for his mistake. His true colors really showed after I forced him to do HIS JOB the right way. For anyone thinking of going to see Dr. Goleburn, I suggest you stay far away from his office. HE is very unprofessional, and he did not know what he was doing with a SIMPLE crown procedure. Also, this was my 1st time visiting this office and Dr Goleburn and I will NEVER step foot back into that office, nor will I recommend him to anyone. I also forgot to mention that when he did the first crown, he should have perform a root canal on the tooth, which he had to do it finally after he drilled off the 1st crown. He also rushes your visit to get to his next patient, he doesn't spend anytime with you like he should, maybe that's the reason why he couldnt get my crown right the 1st time. If you know like I know, you will steer clear of this doctor.
