Dr. Mersad Hoorfar

Dr Hoorfar is a very, very kind person who really cares about his patients. He is very professional and is extremely nice to children!

Received a crown from Dr Trachtenberg, after a few months when I mentioned to his hygienist that food was getting stuck she advised that the crown was not made correctly and that the Dr should be willing to make a new one at no charge since he guarantees his work. A Dr Hoorfar who is new to the practice and will be assuming full responsibility for the practice when the other doctor retires agreed the crown was not made correctly. I came into the office for a new fitting, and had a temporary crown put in for three weeks (for the second time mind you) today when I went for the second crown, it was also not made correctly.....I was upset that I have to endure weeks of discomfort and the inconvenience of a second crown. Dr Hoorfar was rude, indignant and unapologetic, he said it was no big deal and not his fault. they had to remove the crown and put another temporary crown in today while I wait for a THIRD crown to be provided. This practice is both incompetent and unprofessional. After this procedure is completed I will be changing my primary care provider immediately for myself and my entire family. I will also tell anyone and everyone I know of the substandard service and ignorance of this dentist

I LOVE this practice! The staff is friendly, down to earth and always makes me feel comfortable. Dr. Hoorfar is very knowledgeable in the latest dental techniques and has extensive experience.

At my first visit, I was told "they had been watching my tooth" and that I needed a crown. It was done wrong. I have pain daily. X-rays proved it was done incorrectly. Another dentist confirmed this. I tried to get Dr. Horfar to refund my money and he refuses to take responsibility. Now the cost is my burden, along with the pain. NEVER EVER seek service from this dentist.

Went in for a cleaning where I was told I had two cavaties. Went to get a second and third opinion because it would have been my first cavity and the only thing they could find was a coffee stain. Very disappointed!
