Dr. Robert Allan Katz

I visited today to have my teeth cleaned and let them know that I lost a temporary...not only did they have the permanent crown but they took care of another tooth and made time for an invisalign scan and an xray. Such a talented and amazing staff. They rocked it! I feel great. Thank you!!!

Had been seeing HIM for many years and started to notice his work was not the same. No complaint about the staff, just him. When you keep gluing some ones tooth back in over and over and over well it is time to fix it correct? As he has gotten older his work just went down so after around 15 years it was time to say bye-bye and I did. Think twice before you use him.....think twice.

In my opinion Dr Katz and the crew in East Hartford are the BEST in business hands down. I have been with them in East Hartford for many years as a patient as well as other family members and multiple friends. I am a teamster at one of the local beer companies in the area. And they have always treated me very well. Dr. Katz does wonderful work has an excellent personality and I am absolutely grateful to him and EVERYONE at The Burnside dental office for all the help they have offered me over the years . If you’re looking for an honest trustworthy excellent dentist these guys are great

I first saw a very nice Dentist as I had a bit of a pain and she scheduled me to re-do a filling. When I showed up, it was Dr. Katz and he said well, "let's do this root canal." (==> not the same procedure ==> $1,000) I'm back later for a pain in a close tooth and Dr. Katz's reaction was: "ok, we need a root canal, we can do it now." I mumbled: "I need to check with my wife" and escaped....and found another dentist who re-did the filling for fraction of Katz's proposed root canal and it's all good (no more pain.) Never came back!

provided me blatantly incorrect info on dental procedure. no follow up from dentist. results were dental emergency and againizing pain. I do not recommend and highly warn anyone from becoming a patient. something is wrong hear.

My experience with the office and the staff other than Dr. Katz was good. Dr. Katz himself is a dentist that you need to avoid. He advised that a dental procedure was completed and in fact had not been. Even after being questioned he still did not remember what procedures he had and had not done. Of course the insurance was billed for this imaginary procedure. As a result of improper dentistry emergency services were needed at another dentist office and a tooth was lost. The pain and discomfort was off the charts and could have been prevented if he really paid attention to his patients. He comes off as a very personable and caring dentist but don't let that fool you. He is out for $$$ and will jeopardize your health along the way. Stay away. There are better dentists out there.
