I had an appointment for a filling on my upper left side. He used a topical anesthetic before the local anesthetic, which I appreciated. He checked for numbness, I didn't feel anything, so he started the procedure. My nerve wasn't numb though. He numbed again. Still it hurt. He numbed a third time and tried again. At this point I was crying and hyperventilating because the pain was too much to bare; I had to reschedule my appointment. Although it was a traumatic experience, I wouldn't chalk it up to the doctor's fault. I guess I need a nerve block instead of the individual tooth numbing. But that nurse was horrendous! She was very unprofessional the entire time. She cursed, she told me that I was making the situation worse, and she was yelling in my face while I was struggling to breath. I will not be going back if Aspen Dental does not get rid of Kati.
