I liked having braces a lot actually. Some people told me they would hurt, they did but it was cool to see how fast my teeth moved when I got them tightened.

DR Steckel was wonderful with Logan. THe extra early morning appointments were very convenient with work and school schedules. Logan had minimal pain with his braces and they came off at the scheduled time.

When I first got braces I didn't know what to think but then it started to hurt and then it stopped a couple days after. I was like 'I can live with this'. But then I had to get through two years. But I got through it and and my teeth are straight.

Dr Steckel and her staff are the best! Every appointment was on time and pleasant! So please with Natalie's completed ortho, we are so happy!

A little annoying at times but got use to it, losing weight in the beginning of having braces. Hard places to brush and a hard routine to get use to. Food kept getting stuck. Often a piece of chicken, and it was sometimes hard to get out. People have encouraged me with my braces and I couldn't be more thankful.

I am going to miss bringing my daughter into Orthodontics on Silver Lake. The office staff and Dr. Steckel have been wonderful, they are very organized and appointments were always on time. I'm looking forward to 'braces round 2' with my son in the near future. I would like to thank everyone involved in my daughters beautiful smile!

Within the past two years, having braces was overall a good experience. They were not that hard to manage, and the people providing the service were always quite friendly.

Dr. Steckel and the staff were really nice and during my appointments, they would explain to me what was happening, which was really helpful. I thought braces were gonna be annoying and I would hate it but it didn't bother me that much.
