Dr. Stephen James Tsoucaris

It was the most terrible experience of my life. He is rude, unprofessional and even crazy. After his treatment, I had severe pain in this area. I called the office, I told everything and asked for appointment. Tsoucaris, who answered the phone, refused me, saying that he was leaving the office soon. He didn't give me any recommendations, he didn't send me to another doctor, nothing. The next day is their day off. I can’t stand the pain, so strong it was, I saw two other dentists the next day and was given AB and ibuprofen which did not help. I have a fever, pain in my ear, in my eyes. A week later I was finally able to get to Dr. Tsoucaris. When I began to tell him what was happening, I mentioned that a week ago I tried to make an appointment, but he did not accept me. This made him furious! He started YELLING at me and telling me to get out of the office, to go to another doctor. He brought me to tears. I asked why he was so rude to me? What if I have serious complications from his work? And only then did he quickly look into my mouth, he didn’t do an X-ray, he didn’t let me tell me about the pain. He just quickly prescribed me a couple of medications, one of which is the same antibiotic that I just finished taking and which didn’t help me! And running! He acted like crazy! How can he heal people? He himself needs help! I’ll never go back to him again. I still have a fever and pain. And I don't know what to do. I'm shocked!

I had a fantastic experience at this office ! I had a very difficult case and debilitating anxiety about root canal treatment. Dr Tsoucaris was great! I was able to finish the treatment comfortably and without pain. I highly recommend Dr Tsoucaris both for his amazing skills and endless kindness!

When I called to explain that I had an emergency, Dr Tsoucaris quickly made an appointment for me. He was highly recommended by my brother, a retired dentist. When I arrived at my appointment I was greeted by a friendly dental assistant, she was very pleasant & helpful. I met the doctor, whose credentials are impeccable, and he was courteous , knowledgeable with a wonderful chair side manner. My dentist had sent me to another endodontist he was good but not a sufficient as Dr As dr tsoucaris was I had gone to him three years prior and we called that professional experience first time ever had a root canal that was painless had had them before horrible pain . One day my son called me up and said the whole side of his face was swollen from a tooth he had no dental insurance and the dentist in Chatham wanted $500 he came to my house call Dr tsoucaris He told me he was headed for the car with his family to go on vacation in Maine what’s sad to send my son down an hour away for $150 he fix the problem that is unusual I was very happy

Dr. Tsoucaris is a very good .The proof is in the x-rays of the root canal and in the enduring wear of the tooth/canal. He is very responsive and follows up with any dental related questions promptly. I which there was a team of other dentist such as peri, oral, prosthodontics and general dentistry who were just as competent so my entire dental health I could rest assured in.

I was referred by my dentis because I had a bad infection, omg I was an a excruciating pain wen I went to the office he made me feel much better because he cleaned out all the infection, the staff is excellent and the office was impeccable, after he did my root canal I went back because I need it an apicoectomy Procedurein the same tooth was and he made me feel comfortable Dr Tsoucatis is very caring and very nice he is the best, I want thank him because I have no more pain.

Great root canal expert dentistry! Actually the dr Tsoucaris is painless and very knowledgeable and compassionate! And cares about all his patients. Also all the office staff and his assistant all top shelf! Highly recommended!!!

Went for a root canal, said he had to take the bridge off. Could not get it off, went threw the bridge. Paid $1,400.00 and was told that is the complete charge. On second appointment had pain on same tooth and was charged another $134.00. I was told then the bridge would have to come off or do it with surgery above the gum. Was charged $1,534.00 and still had pain. Went somewhere else and had it taken care of. He also cracked the bridge and my dentist had to replace it for $2,100.00. I asked for a paid bill and they took pictures of it on the computer with a smart phone and printed it out they said printer was not working, and a real bad copy of a paid bill. Look at the other reviews, go somewhere else. This man is the worst that I have ever been to in my 67 years on this earth.

Please don't go to him. I've been to many dentists over the years but he was the WORST of them all. He will never answer your calls if something goes wrong and will never provide you with 3D scans and x-rays that you've paid for. And like one of the reviewer said, he didn't give me enough lidocaine so the pain was horrible. He is the most shady and nasty dentist I've met in my life!!! Find someone else- please!!

I'm reporting dr tsoucaris to the academy of dentistry and I have never felt compelled to do anything like that in my life. He is just that bad a doctor.

Unprofessional, rude mannerism. Broken equipment. Poor work which resulted in unnecessary pain.
