Dr. William Thomas Parilla

This man should not be allowed to call himself a doctor. All he and his staff is about is making money. I have HMO insurance and when I called to make an appointment they said that they take it but the doctor only sees patients with this kind of insurance for two hours once a week. I waited over a month to get in. At my appointment I told the doctor that I have been having constant pain in my tooth for over a month. That didn't seem to matter- he did the routine cleaning, told me that we should remove all my molars and pointed out that at my age you can't expect to have things perfect (I am 38). I expected that he would make an X-ray of the tooth the was hurting for so long but he didn't offer anything like that. I figured may be he has another patient after me and tried to schedule the next appointment with the receptionist on my way out. Without being too direct she basically implied that the doctor will not be seeing me again as they are planning to stop taking my type of insurance since it requires more work on their side. I am an architect and have a good job and insurance. It seems to me that a good doctor should be wiling to work with most kind of insurances and should be sincerely concerned about his patients health. These people waisted more than a month of my time by not telling me that they are planning to stop taking HMO and they treated me as allow class individual who is not capable of getting a good insurance. Above all they didn't show any concern about the pain I was having and I thought that is what doctors do. Lastly when I spoke with my insurance I was told that it is illegal to discriminate people with different kind of insurance and only see patients with certain insurance for limited time during working hours.
