Friendly staff and knowledgeable. Dr Bowman did X-ray then evaluated knee. He was very knowledgeable and explained what was probably going on with knee. Meniscus tear. Hoping the shot works.

Dr. Bowman and his staff are outstanding. Could not have hoped for a better result with my left knee replacement. Look no further if your trying to find and excellent surgeon... In addition Tim my physical therapist with Dr. Bowman s team is excellent. Recovered so much faster than I could have hoped with Tim's expertise.

Dr. Erik Bowman is an exceptional orthopedic surgeon! He replaced both of my husband’s knees, which were quite severe, and the results were incredible. Dr. Bowman’s down-to-earth and friendly demeanor put us at ease. He answered all our questions and explained everything perfectly. We highly recommend him. As someone who has seen some of Denver’s best orthopedic surgeons, I wholeheartedly believe Dr. Bowman is in their league. Additionally, I will need hip replacements and knee revision, in the future, and I will definitely choose Dr. Bowman. We feel lucky to have found such an amazing surgeon. Saw Dr Bowman for knee injections. He made me feel comfortable and relaxed and gave me practically painless injections. I will be back!

I am an extremely faithful client of Dr Bowman. He has replaced both of my knees with Total Knee Replacements. Both surgeries, recovery and improvement of flexion and pain are remarkable! I will replace both hips under Dr Bowman as well if it is needed. I have referred countless people to him. I think he is amazing in every way…. I have been seeing Dr. Bowman for 2 1/2 years now for my knees. My right knee had been hurting for 2 years. We did cortisone shots to help with the pain but then the shots weren't lasting long so he told me I needed a knee replacement. He walked us thru the procedure & took his time answering our questions. My knee replacement was done on September 1 2023. I am so happy with the results. My scare looks really great you can hardly tell there is one. Dr. Bowman is one great surgeon for knee replacements. We love him.

He puts me at ease, answers my questions thoroughly, has a pleasant demeanor.

Dr. Bowman is very good at what he does. I would trust him with any procedure, including knee replacement. He’s honest, as a sense of humor, and takes my concerns seriously. He doesn’t beat around the bush when telling me what’s going on which I appreciate. I am not there to get TLC, I am there to find answers and get good service.

Dr Bowman remained both professional and understanding through all my questioning, loud cursing ?? and yelling. He did a great job aspirating and injecting my knee. It hurt but I'm hopeful that I will get better soon. ??

I have an injury to my knee that the emergency room wasn't positive what it is by just looking at the x-rays (which look normal. I called Erik Bowman's office the following day and I was given an appointment for 2 days later (which was this morning. I met Dr Bowman and I explained what happened to me. He eyeballing my knee and said that he wouldn't examine it because he there was no immediate need to and he didn't want to cause me any extra pain. He ordered an MRI and said that if his office doesn't call me by 3 pm tomorrow then I should call them to make sure the ball is rolling for my MRI. I really liked his bedside manner and thank him for not putting me through unnecessary discomfort. I also like how he helped to get me out of there quickly so he could get to patients that Immediately needed him. His staff was also very nice and helpful. I am definitely looking forward to meeting with him again to discuss my injury and make a treatment plan...

DR. Bowman was very helpful and straight forward and when he did not find a concern with my knee pain he also checked my hip. Which turned out that neither was the problem and referred me to therapy. Very easy to talk with.

This was the most bizarre visit I’ve ever had with a doctor. My injury is very severe, and Dr Bowman was extremely negative about it the entirety of my visit. You would think that a doctor would try to say some encouraging pieces of advice to not scare the patient, but Dr Bowman didn’t deem that necessary. In fact, he even joked multiple times about me having arthritis very young. Even saying “see you in 20 years, but hopefully I’ll be retired by then” as an outro. As mentioned, my case is drastic; therefore, Dr Bowman had to refer me to better qualified surgeons for operation. If they are anything like this man, I would rather take my chances with surgery ANYWHERE else. He struggled to diagnose from my MRI images and did not even read the report of other doctors. He did not represent this Boulder facility well.

He answered all my questions. Very nice bedside manner.

In late January of this year, I suffered an injury to my ankle. I was put under the care of Dr. Bowman as my surgeon. From the start, Dr. Bowman and his team informed me of what to expect pre and post op. The surgery was a complete success and because of the follow up care I recieved, have had no complications and I am back to doing all the things I did before I got injured. My recovery was due to the excellent care I received from Dr. Bowman, who explained what I could expect post op. And some exercises to help me recover fully. If anyone needs any kind of orthopedic surgery because of an injury they suffered, I would highly recommend Dr. Bowman. He and his staff are the reason I can walk again without any complications. Thank you Dr.

This is my second time seeing Dr. Bowman for hip issues. I’ve been very pleased with his care and will continue to see him as my orthopedist. He’s very personable and really listens to what you say along with providing good care.

Dr. Bowman was patient in listening to my concerns and thorough in his evaluation. While I hope I don’t have to go back, if I do have another Ortho injury, I will come back.
