Dr. Nicholas Kongoasa, MD

Dr. Kongoasa was recommended to me when I was in need of a new GYN because my former doctor had retired. I found Dr. Kongoasa to be very thorough and informative. I have 2 daughters that I have also had go their for their first GYN exams (ages 18 and 20), and Dr. Kongoasa and his staff were very good and respectful, explaining what to expect and very respectful of the patient. One daughter has endometriosis, and with my daughter's permission, the doctor discussed this with me and answered all my questions in a 30 minute phone call at 8:00PM. His knowledge is top-knotch. We certainly do not feel like a number in this office.

I had my surgery today, He is so sweet, and talented! He called me the day before and during the morning the day of surgery to talk me through it. Great excision specialist, and a good person ??????

My first exam at Center for Endometriosis Care was done by Dr. Kongoasa. He was very knowledgeable and helped me to understand things well. I'm very sensitive when it comes to being examined but he was extremely gentle and made me feel cared for more than my doctors in the past have.

I researched endometriosis on my own and submitted my patient packet to the CEC and within a few weeks Dr. Kongoasa called me and said that my history indicated that I probably had endometriosis, which I was happy to hear because my Gyno had somewhat dismissed my concerns and gave me antibiotics. I had read that the CEC was top notch in excision of endometriosis, and they definitely are. I was able to have an appointment with Dr. Kongoasa soon after since I am local and met with Dr. Sinervo right before my surgery. They were both knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. They did find and excise endometriosis and have been helpful during my recovery and answer any questions that come up. Dr. Sinervo who did my surgery was very kind and showed my parents photos and explained everything that he found right after the surgery. I would highly recommend Dr. Sinervo or Dr. Kongoasa if you suspect endometriosis. The staff at the CEC are also amazing and personable, I really felt that they cared about me.

Dr. Kongoasa is a god sent. I don't know how I would be functioning if it was not for his expertise in endometriosis excision. He is knowledgeable, patient and such an amazing doctor. I would recommended anyone to him especially women suffering from endo.

Exceptional Doctor for Excision of Endometriosis.

Amazing doctor who was extremely knowledgable, compassionate and skilled. I sincerely believe he has magic hands best , my surgery was a breeze and I recovered beautifully. Hands down best GYN in the Tri State area and in the USA.

Dr. Kongoasa is a skilled doctor with an incredibly kind heart. I am currently being treated by him, and am seeing positive improvement already. He takes time with his patience, listens and gives advice and opinions. He is professional and dependable. I will recommend him to everyone!

I have never met a more compassionate doctor who truly cares. He took the time to meet with my father and I and go over in detail my medical history. I am a 26 year old woman who has had pain and bleeding that other doctors said they could fix. My old OBGYN found during a diagnostic laparoscopy that I had endometriosis which he "burned off" but "left some behind in sensitive areas." This did not fix my problems but made things worse! I found Dr. K on an endometriosis support group and decided I would give him a try. I am crying while writing this because it has been life changing. After Dr. K performed excision surgery for my endometriosis I am a changed woman. I am exactly 8 weeks post op and have not felt this good in years. He had me start pelvic floor therapy 4 weeks after which is a god send and I can now do small work outs at the gym! Dr. K is always willing to respond to emergency calls and always has someone follow up. His prayer before my surgery is something that I will always remember. Thank you for changing my life Dr. K.

Dr. K is by far the most kind, compassionate man and an amazing doctor and surgeon. I found Dr. K through an online support on group for women with endometriosis. I, like many others, have struggled for years with debilitating pain on a daily basis. I previously had three laps to remove my endometriosis, one a year. I reached out to Dr. K's office and he personally emailed me back the same day. From the moment he knew my name (via email) he was attentive, answered all of my questions and concerns within hours of me reaching out to him and made me feel comfortable enough to be honest about my concerns. He will have you fill out a very thorough new patient packet. It may take a while but he reads every single word you write. You will also have all of your records sent to his office. He will be in contact with you and as soon as they have everything you will make an appointment with his amazing staff. I cannot say enough good things about the whole staff! They are professionals who all love their jobs and believe in making a difference. When you meet Dr. K and his staff for the first time at your appointment you will immediately be put at ease and know whole-heartedly that you are in good hands! I was in a jam with my insurance and I needed to get my surgery in before the end of last year. The staff went above and beyond to help. He didn't have any surgical time left but they asked around and were able to OR time that was scheduled for another surgeon just to fit me in. I don't know what I would have done had I not been able to get into surgery with him in December. He spent time with me before my surgery and calmed my nerves. He then spent almost 6 hours working to get all of this terrible disease out of me! I am now three months out and feel amazing! I had my surgical records sent to my pain management doctor and the first thing he said was, "Wow, this guy is good." That is high praise from another doctor! Especially one who works in a different hospital. Trust me, you will not find a better doctor! Do not hesitate at all because he is THE BEST! Thank you Dr. K for changing my life and allowing me to become a normal 28 year old again!
