First time going to Dr Ley. I had a reaction to a antibiotic that effected my Achilles tendons. She examed me and insured me of my worries. She was very nice and concerned about my condition. I would definitely recommend her for her specialty.

Dr. Ley was recommended by my physical therapist to help me with plantar fasciitis. It was great to get to know her. Raised locally by a respected area physician, she continues a great family legacy. She is thorough, explains things in a way that are easy to understand, and insists on following up to ensure the prescribe treatments are actually working. Within15 minutes of being informed I had a broken ankle, Nason Hospital arranged an appointment with Dr. Ley. An hour later, I was talking to a concerned, patient doctor who answered all our questions. Everyone involved that day displayed the same qualities as Dr. Ley In a very short time, I was returning to my home with my new companion, the "boot," and feeling I had been blessed with a very special doctor. All followup appointments with Dr. Ley were the same as that first visit. She impressed my husband & I greatly, & we recommend her very highly. God forbid I ever need Dr. Ley again, but I will definitely request an appointment with her. She should be the recipient of TEN STARS!

Dr Ley is great. As a diabetic with foot issues and neuropathy for over two decades, I've had several foot doctors and Dr Ley is the best. Her manner with patients as well as her knowledge are both excellent. I recently moved to Pittsburgh but still come to Altoona to see her. I recommend her highly.
