Two and a half years ago I had surgery on my left foot and since then the foot dropped and my walking gait has been off from what was usual, and I needed a custom AFO to keep my foot stationary while walking. Had PT three separate times after the surgery and was told that "this is as good as it will be." Recently I injured my lower back, was in pain, my right leg was compromised and I was not able to walk well without using a cane. Saw Dr. Panchal, who recommended PT, at a particular company, instead of injections or pain medication. Shortly after starting PT I felt less pain and was able to move more freely. The Physical Therapist is treating me to correct issues since the surgery as well as my current lower back issue, and I am feeling so much better and walking better too. Without the custom AFO. Dr. Panchal recognized what would be best for me and my issues and recommended the Physical Therapist that has now allowed me to be able to walk more normally and I feel much better overall.
