Dr. Peterson literally got me back on my feet again when I couldn't imagine ever walking without pain. We collaborated on the best approach to achieve what I was aiming for and tge surgery was a 110% success. I couldn't offer a higher recommendation for anyone else.

Dr. Peterson is a great, skilled doctor and surgeon! He listens to you and addresses your issues. My surgery was seamless and I am on the road to recovery. You will be in great hands with Dr. Peterson and his team!

He is a very gd doc wish I had met him before now

Dr.Peterson is a great doctor! I’ve unfortunately had the misfortune of having 3 different surgeries on my left ankle. When I tore ligaments in 2018 Dr.Peterson did the surgery for that and it went well. He made sure I had a good nerve block so I wasn’t feeling any pain for the first few days after the surgery by the time it wore off the pain was tolerable. My recovery went well.He’s just a kind doctor very understanding and takes time to really talk and LISTEN to his patients which is so important.The 2nd time in 2020 I broke my left ankle very bad and went to the doctor the hospital I was taken to referred me to at Ortho IL that was a HUGE mistake! I should have went back to Dr.Peterson. After having a lot of hardware put in my ankle that eventually caused me endless swelling and nerve pain where I couldn’t walk around Costco … I got a doctor who wouldn’t listen to me for 3 years when I kept going back telling him how much pain I was in. He literally told me he doesn’t make mistakes and to go back to physical therapy for a 3rd time without taking any X-rays even when I asked for one. I went back to Dr.Peterson finally & he listened to me when I was desperate to help stop my pain… I know that I should have went back to him sooner now I was just so discouraged by the other doctor like it was me making up all my pain.He did the X-ray and sure enough the hardware needed to come out. He said it was probably causing most of the pain I was in. We discussed all options and he answered all of my questions.I agreed that the hardware being removed was my best option.He did the surgery and I’m recovering well with high hopes things will be better.I never have a problem getting an appointment and everyone is great at the Elgin office. Don’t ever go to Ortho IL if you want a doctor that will listen to your concerns or when you tell them that you’re in pain,I had 3 years of horrible pain & for lack of a better word an arrogant doctor telling me he never makes mistakes.I can’t say enough good things about Dr.Peterson. Hopefully this will be the last time he has to do surgery on me!

I can’t really speak to Dr. Peterson as I saw his physicians assistant. She was pleasant and was able to diagnose the problem. She prescribed medication that should help but won’t know right away. Going back for a follow up visit in 3 weeks.

What a great experience overall. Everyone was very welcoming from the second you walked into the door. And Dr Petersons nurse practitioner is truly amazing. Highly recommend this office and team. You will not be disappointed.

Dr . Peterson is an excellent doctor .

It seems to me the actual doctors here are not longer interested in patient care. I went there in pain , from a surgery he did 18 months ago, and was given a medication that doesnt work, and suggested therapy. No x ray, no mri, in and out in less than 5 minutes. Instead of taking the time to get to know the patient, and how they are, or feel, they practice "textbook" medicine. The book says this is how it should work, and that's it. And EVERY doctor in this practice is like this. Extremely disappointed.
