Dr Ward and staff were very good , and prescribed low dose Lortab at my request everytime as i have a low threshold for pain, got all the cancer out, (Linda and Barry) were pre and post op

I am extremely disappointed in my experience with Dr. Ward. I am immune comprised and not a single person in this office was wearing a mask. I am vaccinated, but I wear a mask and take precautions at the recommendation of my infectious disease doctor because of the likelihood of potentially serious complications with Covid related to my immune status. I didn’t appreciate my health being endangered by the office not taking standard precautions. The office was packed and there wasn’t enough space to socially distance myself. After waiting in the lobby for an hour, I was then placed in a room where I waited another 45 minutes for the doctor to rush in and spend less than 5 minutes with me. I didn’t like his rushed exam and I don’t feel comfortable with the diagnosis, so I am currently waiting on my appointment with a different provider for another opinion. I wish I hadn’t risked my well-being or time to see Dr. Ward. I would have given zero stars if it was an option.

I happened upon Dr. Ward because he is treating C19 patients, so I wanted to research his qualifications. He is a licensed dermatologist, which makes him qualified to treat skin conditions.

Angela Danley works under Jon Ward. As a patient of Dr. John Ward, I read the literature in his office and learned of the spa connected with his practice, Aqua Medical Spa. I started seeing Angela Danley for laser hair removal. On my second visit, I waited in a little room with no windows for an hour when I went out into the reception area to find a tissue. During my search for a tissue, I asked if someone would be seeing me soon. The receptionist told me Ms. Danley was tied up down stairs and she would be up shortly. Not long after going back to the little room to wait, Ms. Danley appeared in an agitated state. While she waived the fee for the visit, I felt as if Ms. Danley was still annoyed. Ms. Danley asked her assistant what setting the laser was set on. The assistant replied "seven". Ms. Danley stated "That's a little higher than last time, but it will be alright". When Ms. Danley began using the laser on my face, she didn't move the laster in a methodical manner as she did on my first visit by placing the laser on my face, triggering the laser, then going straight down under the previous position until that column is complete, then moving to the next column and so on. Instead, Ms. Danley moved the laser in a manner as if she was washing a dish. In other words, she moved the laser around haphazardly. No sooner had I left the parking lot, a huge blister appeared on my chin below my lip and a big bump appeared on my right cheek. As soon as I got home, I called Ms. Danley's office, and she advised keeping the sore covered in Mupirocin and she prescribed antibiotics. I had a customary appointment set Dr. Jon Ward under whom Ms. Danley practices. I had seen Dr. Ward once previously and was following up with him. Dr. Ward was dismissive of the fact that the laser caused my blister, told me the blister had nothing to do with the laser, then walked out of the room stating "I'm not having this conversation". He had a patient who was harmed by one of his subordinates and he took a position of complete innocence when he could have apologized and said he would take care of the issue and see that it is resolved to the best of his ability. No. Not him. He is arrogant and really super dumb. He could have handled the problem the easy way. Anyway, after seeing Dr. Ward and relating my experience to family and friends, I have learned that others have had issues with Dr. Ward. This is no way to treat a patient.

Totally confident in Dr Ward’s diagnosis and skill in treatment. The most important characteristics of a Dr.

Love this doctor and his staff. They are as good as gold!

Dr Ward treated me on the last visit. I called and spoke with the office manager regarding my dissatisfaction and utter stupefaction at his behavior. I am not providing feedback to you without firsthand knowledge, as I retired with almost 30 years of experience as a business professional in Administration of multi-physician practices.

I am a healthcare provider and I chose him because he is the best in town!

Would not file medical treatment under insurance b/c it would not financially benefit him.

An overall excellent experience. The office was alittle cold, but the doctor was great!

I missed my appt. once because my mother passed away last year and they charged me $25.00 for no show, I told them about the situation and they gave me a very difficult time, also I had a biopsy did this past summer, they have NOT CALLED ME as of this date. So I call them -they said they called and left a msg. I LISTEN to ALL my messages, (NONE) they did not call. I'm really disappointed his PA see the patients more so then Dr. Ward.

I was pleased with my care but was amazed when I got a call in less than a week with my results. I normally have to call to get my results and wait days to hear back. What a difference!!!

I switched over to this clinic because the wait times were so long at the other. You get more personal care here, and it's easier to make an appointment! Good doc, too.

I was impressed with how nice the office staff was at my visit. Even though the waiting room was full I didn't have to sit there long. The assistant offered me a full exam even though I only had a mole on my arm I was referred for. Then the doctor looked me over head to toe. I had a few places painlessly removed and got a call back with results in less than a week. What a great place!!!

I have been petrified to see the dermatologist because I had a bad experience with a painful biopsy that left a huge scar on my back about ten years ago. A friend at work told me about Dr. Ward and showed me where she had a biopsy done just a few months ago and I decided to go to his office. I was greeted by the sweetest lady in the waiting room and was seen just slightly before my appointment time. I did have 2 biopsies and just like my friend it didn't hurt and now a month later I can't even find where it was taken. Fortunately, the spots were nothing to worry about!!!

I highly recommend Dr. Ward for your dermatology needs. I came into hisoffice for severe acne in September. I had in the past tried manydifferent over the counter acne treatments, which only seemedto irritate my skin. I decided to go to Gulf Coast Dermatology and I amvery pleased with the results that were used to treat my acne. They gotme back to see the doctor very quickly, the staff was very helpful andfriendly. I felt that Dr.Ward was both concerned and knowledgeable andtook the time with me that was needed. I did not feel rushed in and outlike I have at other doctor's offices in the past. I will definitely beback to see Dr.Ward in the future.

He totally misdiagnosed my (serious, but common) skin condition. I found this doctor patronizing. When I suggested my correct diagnosis to him, he told me it was not helpful that I had read about this on the internet.He told me I just had dry skin, and prescribed very expensive products - sold in his office, of course. I went to another doctor, obtained a prescription for my condition, and was cured.Perhaps he has knowledge in the field of appearance enhancement, but I would not recommend him for skin disorders.
