Dr Schonfeld is a very knowledgeable and competent doctor. She has amazing bedside manner. The most caring doctor I have ever encountered. She takes so much time explaining issues and is terrific with organizing and directing other doctors on my liver team.

Dr. Schonfeld is great--so much more attentive and present than other doctors. She spent a lot of time with me, being very thorough with asking about my history, symptoms, medications, and then she went through my test results thoroughly and explained everything to me very clearly. She's really nice and very personable, I'm so glad I went to her and I definitely trust her to help me going forward.

During my initial visit, I misdiagnosed myself. However, Dr. Schonfeld was incredibly understanding, and instead of making me feel foolish, she listened attentively and made me feel seen and heard. She has been working with me to create a plan to tackle my health issues and has been thorough in explaining the course of action. Dr. Schonfeld's consistent empathy and kindness during every visit have been truly reassuring. It's heartening to have a physician who genuinely cares in a world that can be so harsh. She is a shining example of excellent bedside manners for medical professionals. Her compassionate approach is one of the many reasons I will continue seeking treatment at Weill Cornell Medicine.

I’ve been fortunate to be recommended to Dr. Schonfeld and have been seeing her for about a year to deal with elevated Alkaline Phosphatase levels. She is a truly dedicated, thoughtful, and compassionate doctor. She has a strong analytical mind to diagnose and treat the condition. She has used increasingly precise diagnostic tools like the MRI, fibroscan, & biopsy.
