Dr. Jyothsna Mupparaju, MD

I was hospitalized due to an adverse reaction to a specific antibiotic. The emergency room took me off of the antibiotic but due to my conditions and horrible effects, I was admitted to the hospital. However, I got much worse under the admitting doctor's, Dr. Mupparaju'S, care, becoming paralyzed and unable to breathe. I was going into hospice. Then I found out that Dr. Mupparaju had represcribed the antibiotic which was killing me. When confronted, she was condescending, dismissive and arrogant. I nearly died because of her. I filed a complaint with the hospital and they were to review it. I am not privy to the outcome but I requested she be retrained in patient care so others aren't placed in jeopardy. So, if her name is on your chart, ask a lot of questions and review everything. Stay alive.

Excellent doctor

I am currently in CMC and the hospital with my treatment. The doctor is Jyosthna Mupparaju. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone seeking medical treatment. I was brought into hospital due to a reaction to a new antibiotic. I was advised in emergency that they had taken it off my meds. I was admitted and the ER doctor ordered it removed. It took 24 hours for Dr. Mupparaju to come to my room after I complained she hadn't seen me. She came, I advised her of the antibiotic, she was aware of its toxicity to me and she never told me she had put me back on it. I got progressively worse.
