New office safety precautions to keep patients safe. Message from the office of Dr. Alan Rosen:1. We are limiting patient visits to keep the waiting room clear. Most patients go right into a treatment room2. We are all wearing MASKs and require all patients to wear MASKS.3. We are pre-screening patients for Covid 19 symptoms.4. We are taking scanned temperatures when a patient enters the office.5. We have hand sanitizer available in all treatment rooms and waiting room for patients to use.6. We continue to clean treatment rooms and office with hospital grade disinfectant.7. We ask patients to come alone to keep the population in the office low.Alan J. Rosen, DPM is a Board Certified Podiatrist on the Upper East Side of Manhattan for the past 28 years.  He considers himself an aesthetic Podiatrist who treats an array of Foot maladies with cutting edge technology both surgically and conservatively.  He specializes in the care of nervous, anxious and apprehensive
patients.  The office is equipped with digital X-rays which shows results in seconds.  He uses a Sonogram machine to diagnose soft tissue injuries and cysts both which allow him to diagnose and treat the same day. Dr. Rosen has the state of the art equipment for NO needle treatments of plantarfascitis with the Zimmer Radial Shockwave System.  He has the newest NO needle treatments for plantar warts with the Swift Microwave that exposes the warts to your immune system thus having the body rid the wart itself.  He has the Pinpoint Laser to treat fungal nails.  He performs Neurolysis, a non surgical treatment of neuromas.Dr. Rosen Specializes in the treatment of Podiatric Sports Medicine, Heel Pain, Strains, Tendonitis, Plantarfascitis, stress fractures, turf toe, neuroma’s. He uses digital scanning technique for custom orthotics which has pinpoint accuracy.  Custom orthotics can be fabricated in as little as one week.   Dr. Rosen has multiple treatments for foot odor, Athletes Foot, skin fungus, nail fungus, ingrown nails, dry cracked heels and many skin disorders.Dr. Rosen has performed surgery to correct painful bunions, hammertoes, ganglion cysts, neuromas and other foot deformities for over 28 years.  He is affiliated with Mt. Sinai-Beth Israel Medical Centers and Grammercy Surgical Center.  He is an active member of the New York State Podiatric Medical Association and is Board Certified by the American Podiatric Medical Association.  He has been a past Podiatrist for the NY Marathon.  He graduated from Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Illinois in 1989 and did his residency through the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Montrose NY with rotations at West Point Academy.
