I have many ailments. He works very hard at finding the best solutions for me. He never makes me feel less than. He’s compassionate and interested in my physical and emotional well-being. I hope to never have to find another doctor. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr.Chris Baur is a wonderful physician. He genuinely cares for his patients. During my visits he takes the extra needed time to listen to what I have to say and takes my thoughts and feelings into designing my plan of care that will work for me. I appreciate that he will follow up with a quick call or my chart message to check on me and see how i am doing. Could not ask for a better family physician.

Dr. Baur is a refreshing doctor to a needy community. He is doctor to both my boys, a teen and a toddler. He is thorough in each visit and speaks both to the child and myself. I value his teaching nature as it provides much needed knowledge when raising and caring for children. His bedside manner is professional and friendly while staying true to actually caring for his patients and not just medicating without reason. Dr. Baur’s approach to treat the patient as a whole and educate along the way is one I have been looking for in truly raising healthy children. Thank you Dr. Baur! And welcome to Laurens county.

Dr Baur is compassionate and cares about his patients. He is worth waiting for because he doesn't rush you. He even follows up with a call sometimes on his own time because he is compassionate and cares about his patients! Not many doctors like that anymore.

The worse dr I ever went to. Misdiagnosed me. Very rude "I can only treat one thing at a time" had pain all over my body over a year ago but according to him I'd still be there trying to find out that I had fibromyalgia! God is good he's gone.

Dr. Baur is very pleasant, thorough, and is committed to his patients. He goes above and beyond, and even checks on his patients on his own/personal time. He is great with children and the elderly. I wouldn't choose another doctor for myself or my family!

Dr. Baur is somewhat disorganized with staff and his computer he carries around.. He needs to be more prepared before he enters a patients examination room and needs to follow through afterwards..

Dr. Baur always takes the time to listen to my concerns and address each one. He has great empathy for women of my age who have challenges dealing with both adult children and aging parents. When I leave his office I always feel that I have made a positive step in my personal wellness.

I have been to Dr. Baur over three times. I am very pleased that he is my primary care doctor.

Dr . Baur is knowledgable, kind, excellent bedside manners and truly cares for his patients. What more can you ask for in a doctor? He also takes his time with you when you need it so I do not mind waiting at all if there is a wait. His sickest patients are well cared for. He is the best.

This doctor has several issues including memory issues. Not saying this because I am upset about one incident. There have been many examples of this. Just one example is that I have seen him 4-5 times in the last year and he does not remember me even though I have a serious health issue that has been discussed with him on no less than 3 of the visits. I am not saying he just does not remember my name....he acts as if it is our "first visit together". He will look at you, introduce himself, and ask what your problem is. He does this every time. It is quite unbelievable. Obviously he does not even read the chart before he enters the room. Dr. Baur also did a PAP smear on my wife only to have to call us and admit he ( or his office) messed up the PAP smear and she would need to go into the office again to repeat the test. Dr. Baur had someone else do the procedure the next time. Referrals from his office are near impossible to get in a timely manner ( which my insurance requires). They have messed up a couple having to do with my cancer treatment and it looks like I will be paying for their error. Baur's bedside manner is very poor. Not the least, and certainly not he last thing I "could" mention is that this doctor basically accused me of abusing the medicine that "he" and other doctors in his practice prescribed even though I take "less" than the prescribed amount. The prescription calls for 1-2 pills 4 times daily. That is a max of 8 pills daily!! I most often take "1" daily and at times 1 1/2 a day. I generally will take 1/2 pill in the morning and 1/2 pill at night. I do not recommend Dr. Baur or his office.
