We Evaluate and Treat Neuro-Developmental, Behavioral & Mental Health Disorders. We pride ourselves in taking the time to look at the underlying medical issues and get to the root cause, rather than just medicating the symptoms. We take the time to listen to all your needs and treat the WHOLE person, not just the diagnosis. At our practice, we will walk this journey with you and your family by guiding and educating you to put the pieces of the puzzle together, which will lead to overall well-being and lasting health. MSN, APN, BC Kerri D’Onofrio is committed to improving the health and well-being of children and families affected by neuro-developmental and behavioral disorders. Kerri will diagnosis and create individual treatment plans, with the use of traditional and biomedical treatments. Kerri has created a loving and caring environment for children and families that face very challenging situations, by taking the time to listen and understand the challenges they face. Kerri prides herself on treating the whole person, not just the diagnosis and strongly believes that each child is an individual and no two children are alike, therefore no two treatment plans can be alike. Kerri D’Onofrio, MSN, APN, BC has over 25 years of pediatric experience, and specializes in developmental pediatrics and biomedical treatments for those affected by autism, ADHD, anxiety, behavioral issues, developmental delays, food sensitivities, gastrointestinal issues, learning difficulties, nutritional deficiencies and speech delays. Kerri has been married for over 30 years, is the mother of three children, and prides herself on being very family oriented. She understands what it is like to raise a family during these very challenging times. As a New Jersey resident and centrally located in NJ, Kerri D’Onofrio is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and maintains an ANCC Pediatric certification. She received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing at Rutgers the State University of New Jersey and her Masters of Science in Nursing at Monmouth University. Prior to opening her own practice, Kerri worked as a Nurse Practitioner at the Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics Program at The Children’s Hospital at Saint Peter’s University Hospital in NJ, treating children with Autism, ADHD, Developmental Delays and Behavioral Issues. Professional Affiliations MAPS member Sigma Theta Tau American Nurses Association.Kate Hope, MS, CNS: Kate Hope, MS, CNS Kate Hope is a Board Certified Nutrition Specialist with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master of Science in Applied Clinical Nutrition. She is a licensed teacher in the Biological Sciences and has been a science educator for two decades. Kate is the Science Coordinator for the Brookdale College Math, Science, Technology and Literacy Consortium for Professional Development, in Lincroft, New Jersey, and she also serves as an adjunct faculty member in their nutrition department. Currently, she is completing advanced certification as a functional medicine practitioner through the Functional Medicine University. Kate develops nutrition and lifestyle plans for her clients based on their unique bio-individuality, including allergies, food sensitivities or metabolic needs. Kate works with gluten-free, casein free, dairy-free, Feingold, FODMAP, low oxalate, Paleo, SCD, GAPS, and elimination diets to name a few. Kate closely coaches her clients to help them stay on their path to wellness. Her objective is to assist them in reaching their personal goals for health and fitness. Counseling both children and adults, she develops meal plans, shopping lists and recipes tailored to each of her clients’ needs, and provides tips and tricks to make shopping, cooking and dining out manageable for today’s busy families. Kate has experience working with children and adults with ADHD/ADD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Anxiety, Arthritis, Autoimmune Disorders, Celiac Disease, Cholesterol balance, Chronic Fatigue, Colitis, Crohn’s, Depression, Diabetes, Digestive Issues, Gluten Sensitivity, Fibromyalgia, Food Allergies and Sensitivities, High Blood Pressure, Hormone/Thyroid Balance, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Migraines, Pain, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, Skin Problems, Lyme’s Disease, Sports and Weight Management. Kate is a workshop presenter, science writer, and nutrition blogger, and she has co-authored a textbook chapter entitled, “Circadian Rhythm: Light-Dark Cycles”, for the medical textbook, Integrative and Functional Medical Nutrition Therapy: Principles and Practices, published by Springer, 2018. Valuing the importance of community involvement, Kate co-chairs a not-for-profit Lyme support group in Freehold, NJ. Professional Affiliations Certificate in Ayurveda Therapies Certified GAPS Practitioner National Science Teachers Association American College of Nutrition American Nutrition Association. Andrea Kubas, MA, LPC: Andrea Kubas, MA, LPC Andrea Kubas is a licensed psychotherapist with over 15 years of clinical experience in mental health assessment and treatment of youth, adults, and families coping with developmental, mental, and behavioral health challenges. Andrea’s goals as a therapist is to help improve your overall mood and increase your ability to deal with life stressors with more positive outlets. Since 2005, Andrea worked in a variety of settings, providing individual, group, family counseling, school-based counseling and crisis intervention/management. With a focus on coping skills, self-esteem, social skills, stress management, anger management and building relationship skills. Andrea received an undergraduate degree from Lehigh University (2002) and a Master of Arts degree in Forensic Psychology (2005) from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. She has extensive training and experience in applied behavior analysis (ABA), motivational interviewing, crisis intervention/management, trauma-informed care, and humanistic psychology. Andrea is a clinical member of The National Association for the Dually-Diagnosed (NADD) as well as Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (ATSA). She tends to approach therapy from a cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) paradigm while at the same time acknowledging the importance of meeting people where they are at developmentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically. Her intentions are to cultivate a safe, open, and empathetic space as the gateway to holistic, sustainable growth. Andrea has experience working in the following areas: anxiety, anger management, family conflict, mood disorders, stress management, parenting skills, ADHD, autism, crisis intervention, substance abuse, depression, trauma, loss and other life changing events. Andrea resides in Monmouth County, New Jersey. And is dedicated to her profession and is passionate about working with children and families to improve their overall functioning.
