Dr. Christopher Joseph Cuomo

Gives horrific needle. Didn't wait until I was numb. Pried out tooth while I still felt it and was not concerned when he saw me wince in pain. He kept going. Horrid experience. He's rude and arrogant and unfriendly. Gives no instructions for aftercare. Walks out without saying goodbye. Honestly the worst experience of any dental office in my life. Exam room reeked like floor cleaner and there was a bucket on the floor with what I assume was pine sol. You couldn't pay me enough to go through that ever again. The pain was excruciating and he didn't care. He seems hateful of his patients. Trust me. Don't go there. Find anyone else but this guy.

Came in for an implant. After X-ray said he had concerns about the implant he had done several years ago which would be next to the new one. Had to discuss it further. Never heard from him again.

I was so overcharged for the procedure I had done by Dr. Cuomo that I will not be back. Highway robbery. The front desk staff is so rude, condescending and unprofessional that it amazes me that anyone deals with them.

Dr. Cuomo and his staff treated me with great care and everyone had wonderful bedside manner.

I had my wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Chris Cuomo and had an extremely positive experience with not only the doctor but the office as well. Typically I dread the dentist but Dr. Chris’ bedside manner made me feel at ease. He advised me on what was best for my situation and informed me of all of my options. Even after my surgery, I was nervous that there was something wrong with the healing process and the office took me in that night to assure me that everything was healing well. If I ever have to have my other two wisdom teeth removed I would without a question go back to Dr. Chris!

I cannot speak to Dr. Cuomo's competence in oral surgery, but I can speak to his bedside manner and compassion as a medical provider, both of which were exceedingly poor. He did not reassure me or acknowledge the pain I was in whatsoever, and was at times flat out rude. I do not appreciate being treated as if I am unintelligent or that I am exaggerating my pain. He gave no clear recommendations for how I should proceed, and showed far more apathy than empathy.

I was sent over to Dr. Cuomo by my dentist. I was an "emergency" visit but wait an hour and a half in his waiting room. I was charged for x-rays that the tech told me I would not be charged for since she took the picture wrong. Then I was charged for a full tooth removal despite the fact that he removed a tiny piece of the root only. His office staff was beyond comprehension in their condescending tone and manner. I was told "This office does not have gauze or ice" as I sat in the wiating froom bleeding for an hour and a half during the wait for my emergency appointment.

Overcharges for procedures. I could not belive the charge for what he did. His secretarial staff is the rudest and most unprofessional staff I have ever encountered in a medical office. The techs were helpful but I would recommend finding a mosre cost efficient way to go unless you have money to burn.

Will not return. I was charged full price (with no dental insurance) for a very small and partial procedure. He charged me as if he removed the entire tooth. He actually removed one small piece of the root. My dentist talked to him and said it was an emergency yet I waited in pain and with a bloody mouth for one hour and 25 minutes in his waiting room. What would he consider an emergency visit? I was certainly charged as if I was a major inconvenience to him. I was charged for x-rays that I was told I would not be charged for due to the poor and unuseable quality of them. More were taken and I was charged for those also. The two secretaries were, without question, the most condescending and rude people I have ever met and trhey work in a medical office where they should be kind and helpful to people. They could not have been more unpleasant and less snobby if their lives counted on it. They work in the wrong field. I wouldn't return to this office just due to how those "ladies" looked down on and spoke to me. They couuld not have been worse to a person in pain and distress. The facat hat I was charged such a wild amount for what he actually did is simply unethical and outrageous.

I waited an hour and 20 minutes to see Dr. Cuomo. His two staff at the front desk were the most unprofessional women I have ever encountered in a doctor's office. The prices are very inflated an I was not treated as one would expect---especially in a boutique dentistry office such as this one.

During that time I was bleeding and in pain and was told "our office does not have gauze or ice" by his secretaries. They were very condescending and the rudest office personnel I have ever encountered. They did not explain anything financial and looked down on me for not having dental insurance ---for example. Will NOT be back.

I went in to see Dr. Christopher Cuomo for Oral surgery and was impressed by his bedside manner and more importantly the knowledge he has in his field. His dental assistants put all my worries at ease and took very good care of me in the recovery room! I would highly recommend Dr. Cuomo and his staff to my friends and family in the future !

I was hesitant to see a new dentist after having worked in the field for over 20 yrs. but I had to. I needed a tooth extracted. Was referred to Dr. Cuomo and was more than pleased. He is a great clinician and I would definitely refer friends and family to him. The only negative is that he is a Yankee fan!! ;) lol

I was charged far too much for a procedure that took 10 minutes. My dentist (who referred me to Dr. Cuomo) was shocked when she heard what he charged me. Dental assistants were compassionate and understood the amount of pain I was in but I will not return to this practice. Was not treated well by secretarial staff (two women) and was really looked down upon due to my lack of dental insurance and lack of a job. I have never been treated this rudely in an office before. When I asked for something to stop the bleeding in my mouth the secretary told me "We don't have anything like that in this office." Unreal incompetence and lack of compassion. I was there for an emergency and waited one hour and 25 minutes to be seen.

I was referred for an emergency yet waited an hour in a half while in horrible pain. The secretaries were obnoxious, insensitive and condescending. Had no concern for my wellbeing and pain level. I have never been treated so badly by a dentist or doctor's staff in my life. Things finally looked up when I met the dental assistants and they had some compassion and understanding. The wait was awful for an emergency appointment but the price was outrageous. Will never return to this office.

Great overall experience at Dr.Christopher Cuomos office. Dr. Cuomo was honest and very gentle, his dental assistants really put my mind at ease.
