Christy Cosper, LMFT, CSAT-S, CPTT, PhD  currently serves as the founder and Clinical Director of Sano Counseling Center with offices in Long Beach, Santa Monica, and Irvine. Christy is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Certified Sex Addiction Therapist, AAMFT approved clinical supervisor, co-author of Transforming the Addictive Mind, and advocate for underserved communities. She has extensive experience in the field of Addictive Disorders along with other Mental Health Disorders. She is also a relationship expert, specializing in the restoration of relationships with chronic discord.Christy has been working as a clinician in a private practice setting since 2007. In addition to clinical work, she leads intensive weekend workshops and hosts educational and spiritual retreats that focus on healing and improving relationship with self.Christy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a minor in addictive disorders; a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology with an
emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy and she is currently a PhD candidate at Oregon State University specializing in Counselor-Education.Christy and her team of licensed professionals at Sano Counseling Center, provide a safe, non-judgmental space to start healing your emotional and relationship issues.
