Dr. DEREK LEE, PhD, CRC, LPCC-S, DBTC is a LICENSED CLINICAL COUNSELORThe Hope Institute is a Suicide Crisis Management organization who caters to teens and young adults providing next day appointments!We Offer Psychiatry and Medication Management at our Perrysburg and Worthington locations.Our Arizona office is focused on Suicidal Crisis & Prevention servicesDerek is a supervising Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor through the state of Ohio and holds the nationally recognized designation of Certified Rehabilitation Counselor through the CRCC. He received his bachelor's degree in Psychology from Central Michigan University and a master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling at Bowling Green State University. Derek was one of the first two certified DBT therapists in the state of Ohio. Child and adolescent therapy has been the focus of Derek's counseling career, specifically working with the pre-teen, teen, and transition age youth (through college age). Derek is a CAMS
trained and certified suicidologist, with work focusing on suicide, self-injurious behaviors, and mood and personality disorders, as they can be closely related. Derek also works with behavioral issues, substance abuse, parenting issues, and family therapy.  Derek serves both as the CEO and as a practicing clinician.PERRYSBURG COUNSELINGPerrysburg Counseling is a leader in innovation, not only in northwest Ohio, but in the country.PCS brought DBT to the region and is the home of The Hope Institute, which is now providing evidence-based suicide treatment as it spreads nationally.
