Dr. Diego Gonzalez

Recently, I visited Supreme Dental for a root canal and crown. What should have been a two-step process, turned into an excruciating FOUR visit procedure! Since Dr. Cash has relocated, I was assigned to Dr. Diego H. Gonzalez. I was a bit uncomfortable about seeing a Dentist I had no knowledge of; however, my being in pain simply skewed my judgment. An incredible FOUR TIMES this dentist botched the mold for my crown… FOUR TIMES!? Which equated to more needles, more pain, and more time away from work! By the THIRD visit, I was literally in tears! I have never experienced this level of incompetence in any Dentist that I have ever visited. There is no question that I wanted to walk out and seek a Professional’s care; however, I had already paid this office $1,600.00 for the procedure! Finally, during the FOURTH visit, the crown fit but what added insult to injury is that Dr. Gonzalez had the gall to offer me an electric toothbrush, as a “peace offering” for all that I had experienced! When I refused the toothbrush, stating that, at the very least I expected a partial reimbursement he said he could only reimburse me $200.00 but that he still wanted me to keep the toothbrush! He continued that he could credit $200.00 to my office account, but I asked that I be given a check instead. As we walked to the Manager’s office, Dr. Gonzalez spoke over me and told the office manager to credit my account $200.00, as if I would EVER return for any of his services! By this time, I had had enough and asked that she provide me with a check! Still today, I find it very difficult to believe all that I endured at Dr. Gonzalez’s hands and to know that his thirst for money would usurp fairness. In business, we will always face challenges; however, in the end, it’s HOW we rectify those situations and how we demonstrate customer value that counts. We cannot always control what happens, but we can control what we do afterward. Dr. Gonzalez fought, to not reimburse a meager $200.00, also, he turned and walked away with that same electric toothbrush he said he wanted me to have and then lied and said it was the reimbursement or the TOOTHBRUSH! I find his behavior pathetic, and I find his work ethics deplorable. You would rather win a single battle but lose the war. I had four referrals that would have become new patients this month, surely you would have been compensated through this growth, but you chose a path that has not only steered me away but my referrals, as well. I find your behavior very disappointing indeed.
