Refused birth plan, criticised mid-wives and hydrotherapy, never told me my daughter was breech, which resulted in an emergency c-section...

I had first went to her to get set up on birth control and she kept trying to get me to use another plan after I had already looked into what I had wanted. And since I didn't want to go to her plan she had decided to put me on a very low dose of birth control. I still had weird symptoms months after they should have died down and she refused to help with different brands of the birth control. Then a couple months later I ended up pregnant due to the low dosage. When I went to her office she said my hormone levels looked alright and then she had done a check up and I ended up bleeding. I had a miscarriage that day after she said I shouldn't of had one. Not recommended

i went to ahmed for my pregnancy.. my child is now 4 and has developmental delyas stemming from a problem from when i was pregnant. dr. ahmed never told me about this problem and i just went and got my records from her old office and she has my daughters diagnosis in there word for word.. i am still suffering due to this womans lack of ability to do her job.. do not go to her!!!!!!

I will recommend Dr. Ahmed to anyone looking for a concerned knowledgeable doctor. She is very informative and patient. Dr. Ahmeds personality is infectious, and she's very authentic. She is focused on you only during the appointment, and always answers any questions you have. In the 6 years that I've had either her or Dr. Karasik, I've been 100% satisfied. Even though she's no longer practicing in Bellevue, I'd travel to keep her as my preferred OBGYN.

Avoid if possible. Unprofessional and has no concern for the individual needs of her patients. I was warned before but didn't listen. Refused to let me have a birth plan, criticized mid-wifery, criticized hydro-therapy and any kind of natural child birth. A nurse told me the hospital has had an increase in c-sections after getting rid of their mid-wives in Bellevue. Also refused simple requests: wouldn't fax paperwork for 4D ultrasound even though it was going to be paid out-of-pocket. That was of course after telling me it was ok as long as it wasn't billed to the insurance company. I think she is more interested in playing games than "doctor".
