I had cataract surgery in both my eyes and have never been so happy with the results. I would definitely recommend Dr. Mahootchi! Very pleasant staff as well.

I had cataract surgery at The Eye Clinic of Florida by Dr. Mahootchi. He is a wonderful Dr. And professional. I opted for the panoptix lense replacement and am very happy! I can see better than I have seen for years! I’m still amazed that I can read with no glasses required! The staff did a great job of making me feel welcome as well. Dr. Mahootchi took the time to explain options available and the surgery was quick and uneventful. I recommend The Eye Clinic of Florida highly and am so happy I found Dr. Mahootchi and staff!

I have just completed cataract surgery and having lens put in my eyes there. So far I've had a very good experience from having them to deal with my insurance to make an appointment. I find they're good on time with appointments or as close as I can be. Time is pretty important to everybody. The staff from the eye clinic to the surgery center have been very understanding and kind and informative to my scaredy cat nature.Dr Mahootchi is well knowledge in his skills as well as his associate. I'm very excited to see where the surgery will take me. And I know the only time will tell with that it's still too soon after the surgery to really comment on the outcome. But so far I'm okay.

On June 18/2023 I had cataract surgery performed by Dr. Ahad Mahootchi. After consulting with three known Ophthalmologist/Cataract Surgeon in the area, including Dr. Mahootchi as the last. And yes, I'm very picky . It's a difficult decision I don't know who would do the best job, who is being honest helping me choose the right IOL (Intraocular Lens). After consulting with Dr. Mahootchi, I chose him for several reasons. He is very passionate and dedicated in his specialty; he respects and listens to his patients; he has over 25 years of experience; excellent and respectful office staff as well as Same Day Surgical staff. As a patient as well as a Registered Nurse....I highly recommend Dr. Ahad Mahootchi. You cannot go wrong!!!!! Thank you Dr. Ahad Mahootchi!!!!!

Dr. Mahootchi is very knowledgeable and professional. He treated me for glaucoma. He tried a variety of drops to reduce the pressure. After allergic reactions to various drops, the doctor decided the best plan of action would be a Xen Gel Stent in each eye. The results were amazing. The pressure remained low and no drops other than Thera Tears were required. I appreciate how friendly Dr. Mahootchi is and how he answered all my questions. I would highly recommend Dr. Mahootchi to anyone with eye problems.

I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Mahootchi and his staff. I was going blind due to a disorder called Fuchs Dystrophy. He was very confident that he could fix my eyes so that I could see perfectly. He was absolutely correct !! All his staff made me feel comfortable and at ease, both before, and after the transplants - the recovery time is slow and takes patience which I do not have. The follow-up appointments were scheduled to make sure my eyes recovered totally. It is impossible to understand how precious eyesight is until you lose it and then are lucky enough to get it back. Dr. Mahootchi gave me back my eyesight, and I am very grateful.

The Eye Clinic of Florida- Zephyrhills FL Dr Mahootchi and his staff are a great team. Each person on the team is cross-trained, building their skills so that they understand the entire procedure and can step in to assist where ever needed. Every employee made a point to speak with me, allay my fears, and answer my questions. The teamwork was amazing; employees interacted with, and assisted each other as needed. All employees were knowledgeable, kind, informative, efficient and effective. Dr Mahootchi spoke throughout my cataract surgery, he explained what he was doing so his staff could absorb the training. He also kept me informed of how I was doing and where he was in the surgery (i.e. your cataract is now removed, I will be inserting the lens in a moment.) I highly recommend this facility and staff.

No more floaters! Dr. Mahootchi performed a perfect vitrectomy (pars plana PPV), and my vision is clear. The surgery was much easier than I anticipated, and his surgical center staff was really outstanding. They kept me informed and perfectly comfortable. The healing process went smoothly, and I’m so thankful I chose to do this with Dr. Mahootchi. I wholeheartedly recommend him. You deserve clear vision, and he’s the doctor to give it to you.

I found Dr Mahootchi when I needed cataract surgery. The Eye Clinic is staffed by super concerned and caring employees. Appointments are easy to make, with little wait time. I feel the care I get here is the best I’ve ever had, and highly recommend Dr Mahootchi.

I have been seeing Dr. Mahootchi for several years including most recently for cataract surgery. He and his entire staff always show great concern, making sure of my comfort, and for the first time in over 60 years, I can see distances without glasses! I've recommended him to several friends and they, too, are pleased. I cannot recommend him and his staff any more highly than to give perhaps a 10+ out of 5 score.
