From the first time I met Dr Amy Perreira, she made me feel so comfortable that I could ask her anything about my problem and she answered all of my questions and showed so much concern and empathy. I am so happy that she is one of my Doctors from Island Orthopedics and I feel so confident in her ability to help me with my arthritis thumb and my upcoming surgery to remove the bone that has bone spurs on it and extremely painful. She is so honest in her explanation of my condition and I am so grateful and thankful for the peace of mind that she gives me. Thank You Dr Amy Perreira! Dr. Aimee Perriera has always been kind and informative about whatever is needed to repair anything that affects my hands and wrist from the old age and daily activities I engage in. She quickly helped correct problems I had like trigger finger and carpal tunnel in both hands. I totally trust her and recommend her to anyone who’s experiencing any discomfort or injury in their hands.

From the moment we stepped into the office, we were greeted by the friendliest employee. She took my forms that I had completed before coming in and informed us that Dr. Pereira would be right with us. We didn't even wait 10 minutes and we were called in. Dr. Perreira was also very knowledgeable and explained what was going in with my hand. She was also so friendly like the rest of the staff at Island Orthopaedics. My husband came in with me and he's been having problems with his hand so he asked for Dr, Perreira's card so he could have his Dr. refer him to her. This is the best Dr's office we ever went to. Friendly Staff and Drs. and very knowledgeable and polite. Thank you Dr. Perreira, I will be back when I need another shot in my hand.

She is great in every aspect of orthopedics and very friendly. I had a fractured wrist between my thumb and wrist which needed surgery (a screw, etc.) Very happy with my pcp on his recommendation to see her. In my opinion? she is the BEST!! Thank you Dr. Aimee Perreira Michael N

Just plain rude. Never available when I try to call. Always seems like she’s at a different clinic every day.

My experience with Dr. Perreira and her staff has been most unpleasant, I live on the island of Molokai. Post surgery, I tried to get help from Local physical therapists. Her staff called them (only 2 on island), and tried to block them from helping me. I am not required to obtain a referral with my insurance (PPO). I believe they get a kickback from the hand therapy place on Oahu, otherwise why would they block outer island people from seeking a local physical therapists. An hour spent on you tube provided all the information any therapists could provide regarding hand therapy for flexor tendon repair. Be prepared for bullying, and unproffessional tactics.
