Dr. Melamud is an incredible doctor and he works very hard to keep my vision the best it can be. He made sure my retina issues were resolved and he has kept them that way. Thanks to his care, I am confident in my vision and my eye health. Candidly, I wouldn't go anywhere else and I would encourage anyone who needs retina or macula work to see him out immediately. He is truly a one-percenter when it comes to Ophthalmology.

Dr. Melamud has been treating me for Diabetic Retinopathy, a condition which requires monitoring, measurement, and administering medications. He is skilled, thorough, detailed, personable, and he discusses my condition with me, and explains treatment options. I feel very comfortable with his care.

Dr. Melamud is excellent doctor. He check my retina tear to make sure the tear is intact. And very thorough to make sure there is no more tear. And he said he need not to see me in a year and half or even two years. The front desk clerks are pleasant but could use a little smiling face when they greet patients. Other than that they were pleasant and professional.

That said, the Reston operation is an absolute model to be emulated. Now, back to Dr. Melamud for the rest of the review. Truth in lending, he's been my guy for a while and I will say this without hesitation. Without Dr. Melamud's skill and expertise, I know I would have lost the sight in my right eye. I can easily say that without any hesitation. Bottom Line: You need retina work done, you go see him. He is an absolute titan because he is quiet, he listens, and is laser- focused on your eye health. Dr. Melamud will do everything he can to keep your vision the very best it can be. I never see anyone else. If you become his patient, then you can rest easy!

Dr Melamud initially treated me for a small retina tear. He immediately identified the problem and provided treatment to correct the issue. His exams are carefull and thorough. He answers all questions and provide excellent followup care. He provides outstanding care and service.

Wait time from initial technician evaluation to the time of eye digital camera photos was 45 minutes which seems excessive to wait in a coronavirus environment.
