Dr Ogden took the time to explain why I needed cervical fusion surgery. I never had any type of surgery before and didn’t know what to expect. Dr and his staff were wonderful to work with, they were compassionate and understanding. Would strongly recommend them!

We met with other doctors in other practices and were not happy. Dr. Ogden took the time to review the MRI with us and the procedure that he recommended along with the potential risks. The day of the procedure he went through everything again. The post-op care was very good. The office staff that worked with the insurance company was excellent, as well.

I can to Dr. Ogden in the middle of the pandemic after suffering at home for months for fear of seeking treatment. He met with me virtually, explained everything clearly and concisely, and recommended a path of treatment without immediately jumping to surgery as an answer. When it eventually became clear surgery would be needed, he was incredibly caring and attentive to my concerns, and the procedure was life-changing in that I could already walk better and with less pain the evening of the procedure than I could for several months prior! Post surgery, his timeline and guidance for recovery and physical therapy was spot on, and I am extremely pleased with the result and overall experience.

I CHOSE DR. OGDEN AFTER VISITING 3 OTHER DRS. ALL THE DRS. BASICALLY HAD THE SAME PROGNOSIS FOR ME. THE REASON I CHOSE DR. OGDEN WAS HIS PRESENTATION AND PATIENT SKILLS. No bedside manner whatsoever, when asked a question about post surgery recovery he snapped at me which was totally unprofessional. He may well be a genius at what he does but certainly lacks empathy and ability to connect with his patients. His PA Martha however is the best!

When I was told I needed surgery to remove a tumor in my neck that was wrapped around my spine, etc., I went for several opinions. Most were qualified but Dr. Ogden was the most patient, professional, thorough neurosurgeon. I credential physicians for a living and work in the healthcare industry for over 35 years so I knew what I wanted. My PCP knew what I needed and together we knew Dr. Ogden was the right one. He was phenomenal and got me through a horrible medical situation with skill, kindness, empathy and knowledge regarding my emotional as well of physical needs. My surgery was over 13-14 hours. He was the last face I saw before and the 1st 1 after. He is part of the teaching faculty at Columbia and had top notch fellows. He is a gentleman and a scholar and I would not hesitate to refer anyone to him and have. Never rushed/rushes during visits, listened and cares. It's always difficult to find the right doctor, but I'm so happy my friend recommended Dr. Ogden. I had minimally invasive spine surgery and now I'm pain free. I highly recommend Dr. Ogden.

I suffered daily pain and tingling/numbness in my left leg until Dr. Ogden performed a lumbar fusion and laminectomy on me last August. I now go about my daily activities without discomfort or numbness. I am very grateful and recommend him highly.

Dr. Ogden operated on both my husband and myself. Both of us had minimally invasive surgery with very little post op pain and good results. Great bedside manner, very approachable, We couldn't have been happier. We were treated in Valley Hospital in NJ and it was great not to have to go in NYC for excellent care.
