Saw her at her new home at the VA in Fairbanks, Alaska. First time seeing me and I was impressed at how completely she understood my medical history zeroing in on all this issues of my 55 year old body. Tackled every issue. Beyond being an obviously competent physician she is warm, welcoming and has a beautiful countenance.

I have never been treated so poorly by any doctor in my entire life. This woman made me feel like I was the biggest fool she'd ever met because we wouldn't agree to the life altering medication she was trying to force down my husbands throat.My husband began having seizures while in military training in Oklahoma. He had never had seizures before & so we knew it was something environmental. Dr Beauchamp wanted to start him on a very intense medication that he would have to take for the rest of his life & we wanted to discuss other medications since several people who were on or had taken this med warned us against it. There are newer meds w/o the horrible side effects of this particular one BUT since they were newer & still patented they weren't dirt cheap which is why I'm assuming they were pushing this other drug so hard. I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH HOW RUDE, PUSHY & INTIMIDATING THIS WOMAN WAS. If you have a choice go to someone else - don't let her bully you into medical decisions that will effect you for the rest of your life. Dr Beauchamp if you are reading this I truly hope you have changed but I will never forget how horribly you treated us. I can only hope your other patients have enough backbone to think for themselves & keep you & your ego in check.
