Dr. Alix Kathaleen Mcdonald, MD

I saw Dr. McDonald- Smith last night in a Jessamine county Emergency room. As a chronic migraine patient, I end up in the ER more often than the average person. I've been treated poorly by a lot of doctors because they think I'm a drug addict. I went in with a very severe cluster migraine. The nurses were all sweet, and dimmed lights as much as possible to keep me comfortable. There was really no wait, and I got treated quickly. The original meds didn't help a lot, so she ordered some others that did work. And before i was discharged, she asked me about me eds I have tried, and wrote me prescriptions for one of the meds I had while there, and another to try with it. No WE doctor has ever cares or showed a vested interest in me feeling better beyond the time I was there. I really appreciate everything she did.
