Dr. Alyn Louise Adrain, MD

I was really looking forward to an appointment here but I was told that because I canceled an appointment due to illness as to not spread a virus and the second appointment I was over 10 minutes away stuck in traffic that they will not schedule an appointment with me. Very disappointing. Staff agreed that I should have canceled the first appointment.

I credit Dr. Adrain for saving my life. After undergoing an emergency laparotomy, It was unsure what my future would hold. Dr. Adrain, took on my case and never gave up on finding the answer of what ails me. While the results of my surgery still impact my life today, i at least have the support of a brilliant physician who always has a game plan, and strives to improve my life every day. I would not trade Dr. Adrain for the world, and I am grateful for her and her stellar medical assistant Jennifer.

I had to gofor a colonoscopy recently. Yuk, right? Anyway, I was very nervous about it. Dr. Adrain's office staff are the best. They made it very easy to schedule, working around my schedule. They put me a disease, and answered all of my questions. Dr. Adrain was professional yet very personable. She may me feel safe, and comfortable. The procedure went great. I can't believe I was so worried about it! I would go back to this office in a heartbeat.

After reading the recent review of Dr. Alyn Adrain, I felt the need to respond by expressing my praise and gratitude concerning my own experiences with Dr. Adrain's medical care. My health was very seriously compromised and I was quite close to impending death. Dr. Adrain spent countless hours working at diagnosing my problem, never giving up until she found the correct diagnosis of an obscure auto-immune disease. I needed to see her numerous times each week to see how the disease was progressing and had to be tested frequently and carefully. Dr. Adrain left nothing to chance until she discovered my health issue and how to control the problem. She showed patience, kindness, compassion, and most importantly, medical concern. While I was in the hospital, The Miriam Hospital which requires the highest quality of care, Dr. Adrain observed me multiple times daily. This was the work of a true professional. Her follow-up procedures were frequent, even to the point of contacting me at my home as well as others' homes to check on me as well as sharing results with me. She employs the same committed medical practice with me today as she has done in the past. She has never let down on my condition. Dr. Adrain is an outstanding medical practitioner. She cares for and truly cares about her patients in a genuinely thorough, all encompassing manner. Dr. Alyn Adrain is truly committed to her profession and her patients.

Dr. Adrain is as professional as she is fun. I never feel self-conscious in her office, as her bedside manner is top notch! Before coming to her, I had two other less compassionate doctors, but I've finally found an office whose care and customer service rate exceptionally well.

She is caring, knowledgable and thorough. Went to her on the recommendation of a friend, who also thinks she is tops. Had seen another GI who had not really listened to my symptoms, and therefore hadn't diagnosed my problem. Dr. Adrain figured out what was wrong right awat, and we were able to fix the problem!
