Dr. Aman Kumar Kakkar, MD

Dr. Kakkar is highly competent, professional and trustworthy. He is the best cardiologist I have used and I would strongly recommend him without any hesitation. FYI, I am his patient since year 2015.

No matter how busy the day he always makes me feel like I am the most important person during the visits. He does not make me feel rushed to ask questions and he takes his time to explain things in a manner that are easy to understand. Their office also makes it possible to get in on short notice

Dr Kakkar was referred to my husband in the ER at Cherokee Northside. After much testing in the ER, it was determined that no heart attack had occurred. Dr Kakkar was Cardiologist there and performed heart cath and 10 to 15 minutes into the procedure found a 4" tear in the ascending aorta. When Dr Kakkar came and told me about the Type A Dissection, I was very devastated. The chances of survival is 50% that have this don't make to the hospital alive. The 50% that do make it have 33 % of surviving the surgery. He was sent directly to the Emergency OR at Kennestone and spent 8 hours in surgery and is home and recovering slowly 9 days after the event.

He is as good as all the above raters have indicated. Just what you want in a doctor.I wish all the other specialists were as good.
