Dr. Badaway is a blessing to me. After two years of unbelievable pain in my lower back and very limited mobility, I’m walking again. I’m pain free. I have hope again. Dr. Badaway performed RFA on my lower back on March 17. On March 19, I was able to walk three miles without pain. I’m completely off pain medication and feel like I have my life back.

My wife is disabled and in a wheelchair. She went to Dr. Amr Badawy for pain management. From the point of her initial visit the doctor was negatively prejudiced towards us. We did not understand it, but the seed of fear was now planted in my wife. She had to walk on eggshells so she would not prompt aggression from him. We had to play the de-escalation game. The next visit it was worse. There are limited available physicians with our insurance, so we put our heads down and tried to do whatever we were told and still try to get him to maintain the type of care she needs. He practically reduced her prescription strengths in half. She explained it caused her to have excruciating pain and she needed her old prescription strength however he refused and said she must just deal. My wife left the office in literal tears because she felt so belittled by his treatment in addition to feeling hurt, scared, unheard and uncared for. He was arrogant, egotistical, prejudiced and without bedside manners. Finally, my wife must prepare herself in fear, agony, and despair to see him again. We tried to talk softly, respectfully and without conflict yet it was not enough for him. He continued with his previous attitude and demeanor except even worse. This time he told her she required more than he wanted to deal with, and he did not care if he was her last hope. He said he refuses to help her. This destroyed my wife. I must put a side not in that my wife has mental disabilities which he was fully aware of. I tried to speak on my wife's behalf because she was emotionally distraught. He got upset and kicked me out. I understood and did not take it personally. It ends up he used that time with my wife to be more aggressive and demeaning to her while I WAS NOT THERE. I am called back to wheel her out because we are kicked out. I carefully push my wife because her wheelchair is wide. We are at the front door halfway out and the medical assistant runs out from the back aggressively and yells at us to hurry up. Claiming we broke things. A patient in the waiting room told her we did not, she continued to approach aggressively until we were out the door. Dr Amr Badawy and his medical assistant need patient treatment training. He treated us like we were ignorant little girls. We have never felt so belittled and degraded, uncared for and rejected. I almost feel guilty for being who I am as a woman, is it because of me my wife is in this situation?

When Dr. was not open I had to go to the hospital for immediate care. My back pain was so severe I was unable to walk at the time and in tears. The hospital was great in getting pain level under control and sent home with meds until I was able to see “BAD”way again... When I explained on my follow up appointment, he literally yelled at me and threatened to not treat me any further based on the hospital treating me with meds that were not administered by him... this was an emergency as I was not able to stand nor walk on my own at the time; it was excruciating pain. Never in my life was I treated with disrespect and experienced such unprofessionalism. Don’t waste your time! He can move and/or add new locations but it’s the same loser working new unaware patients... and will move on again when he runs out.

NO MORE CAAAANE!!!! THANK You So much DR Badawy, you truly understand pain. You took your time and listen to my issues and you decided to start on spot the treatment to stop my agony, for ever grateful Dr. no other doctor has taken the time to analyze the patients agony from the pain and do something about it, not even in ER where I came actually worth and with a huge hospital bill. My experience was not the best. I'm trying to avoid neck surgery since the Neurosurgeon gave me a 50% chance that the pain would go away. My pain is not constant so I guess that is confusing to doctors for some reason. Dr. Badawy gave me a sample of Lyrica for nerve pain and when that didn't seem to do the job, recommended an injection in the neck. That too, didn't work. He tried to pass me back over to the neurosurgeon and when I explained that I wanted to avoid surgery, he basically just shrugged his shoulders and said there was nothing more he could do for me. I thought doctors were supposed to figure out how to help a patient instead of just giving up. Maybe this is why they use the term, 'practice'.

Dr badawy answered all my questions and didn't seem rushed. He seemed to care about helping with my pain. I have only seen him one time but he seems like one of the good ones

I have suffered with back pain for over 25 yrs.,and I had to deal with Doctors treating like I was a drug addict.When I first saw Dr B I was very cautious.but I have now found a very compassionate and caring Dr. He explains all treatment to me and does not run out of the door after a 2 min consult. If you need pain management and like being treated like a human I highly recommend him

Excellent physician, excellent spinal injections, great staff. Highly recommend.

No one in his office wants to deal with insurance. Tells you a procedure is denied when they never even submitted for it. Yells at the patient when we relay what the insurance company told us. Puts words into people's mouth. Do yourself a favor ad find another doctor.

I spent close to 10 years going from doctor to doctor not happy till I went to Orlando Pain and Spine. The last pain clinic I had been going to stopped taking my insurance without warning. I was in a panic to get my pain medication refilled. I called Dr. Badawy's office and I got an appointment the next day. Dr. Badway is the most amazing doctor!!! He treats you like an equal and is so caring. I have gotten numerous injections from him for my back pain and this man's hands are special gift from God. If you have chronic pain, back pain, Fibromyalgia or ANY pain you need help with I recommend this man with no hesitation!!!! Also I want to thank the staff there who are just wonderful. They all create such a warm calming and welcoming atmosphere every time I am there. I know that is not easy when you are dealing with patients who are in pain. I thank God everyday for bringing all of you at Orlando Pain and Spine into my life. Bless you !!!!

Great doctor, his patients call him the pain magician. Hei is very knowledgeable and explains everything in details. I highly recommend him to anyone. The staff is very helpful and friendly .

This place is a joke. No one at the front desk knows what they are doing nor do they want to do their jobs. Go here if you don't mind NOT using any insurance, because if they have to file Anything or get any paperwork from any of your doctors the staff is too lazy and they won't.

Great doctor who cares about his patients. I had chronic headache and i been through many clinics but Dr.Badawy was the only on e who made the correct diagnosis and treated me right away.
