Dr. Andrea I Reznik, MD

This doctor is a waste of time and your insurance company's money. She saw my father at Hunterdon Medical Center and told him he had symptoms of Parkinson's Disease and requested a followup visit in her office after his discharge. She spent 75% of our 7 minute appointment shuffling through (and confused by) his medical records and the other 25% by asking him to demonstrate exactly how his hands were twitching post-HMC admittance. According to her, Parkinson's is a rolling twitch not a steady shake. I am so sick of doctors preying on the elderly to make money off of the Medicare teet. This was A CLEAR CASE of exactly that.

The doctors' office is all old style. Even for appointment booking they write in a diary. Very old style with old diagnostic equipment. The thing that turned us off is the aweful receptionist who was racist and have serious attitude problems with absolutely zero patience. We had to go to a different doctor just because of the receptionist. Also, the doctor looks like wants to see the patient often so she can make some money. We got this verified as we got different information(about what insurance company said) from the doctor/receptionist vs when we called insurance company directly. I may or may not recommend the doctor, but certainly do not recommend anyone going until that receptionist is there.

Dr. Resnik has shown compassion for my situation and is working aggressively to find a solution for my pain.

She is great

Having dealt with an issue of tremors in both hands for a long time, it was so disconcerting to write, do art work. I was so self- conscious. Dr Reznik resolved the issue in a few visits. She made me feel so comfortable and she is just amazing.

This doctor is obviously unqualified and not very well regarded by her peers. She practices 'checkbook medicine' meaning she barely gets by on being a lackey for insurance companies that will pay her to say whatever it is that they tell her to say. Her office is in a run down building very difficult to find and I left there feeling I needed to get home quickly to shower.

Resnick has to be one of the most unethical individuals masquerading as a physician - she should list herself as a poor accountant. She performs every imaginable test possible in her office having absolutely NOTHING to do with your condition/problem. She is rude, course and should have her license rescinded for merely accumulating charges and not diagnosing the medical condition. Was her MD from K-Mart or some mail away school?

Upon my initial visit to Dr. Reznik's office, her staff, particularly her office manager, Barbara, proved to be curt, rude, and unresponsive. The office does not utilize electronic mail despite operating from 3 distinct locations. My prescription was not able to be filled the same day as my appointment because the office waited until the close of business to submit it not realizing it would require an insurance authorization. When I attempted to contact Dr. Reznik, she alleged that her office was short-staffed due to 2 employees being sick with the flu. I reminded Dr. Reznik that while I was there her office was staffed with a receptionist, an office manager, and a tech and that there was only one other patient besides myself, she terminated the phone call by hanging up on me.

Dr Reznik was wonderful. She was thorough and helped me with a long standing issue in a way no other doctor did. She was easy to have work with my other Doctor's for issues and medications and I would highly reccommend her. Also, her staff (I go to Bridgewater office) is soooo nice!

This woman is by far the worst excuse of a medical professional- and human being- I have ever encountered. Her only concern is financial gain. I was admitted into the hospital in 2010 with extremely high blood pressure, severe pain from cranial pressure and severely blurred vision. No one knew what was wrong with me. I was alone and afraid and oh yeah- couldnâ??t SEE ANYTHING. I am sure I was made to sign some sort of consent form in the ER but I could not see what I was signing and was too distraught to understand anything that was happening. All I remember was telling them over and over that I did not have insurance- as a recent college graduate with huge student loans, I was petrified of being in even more debt. My condition actually became so severe because I waited so long to seek attention due to my lack of insurance. Luckily, I qualified for the hospitalâ??s Charity Care program. I was informed that it would cover most of my in hospital visit but that private doctors had the right to refuse accepting this insurance. I was in the hospital for 5 days and had to undergo many tests. My primary care physician was a saint and was there regularly to help and check on me. They finally determined I needed a neurologist. As it turns out, the hospitalâ??s neurologist was away that week and they would need to bring in their on-call physician. Reznik knew my financial situation yet neglected to tell me she did not accept the Charity Care insurance. I was never given the right to refuse her service. She was highly unprofessional. She first approached me for my initial â??examâ?? while I was groggy on pain meds and feeling nauseous, waiting in a wheel chair in a hallway for yet another MRI. She did the basic reflex tests and looked at my eyes and left. I do not remember much else from the encounter. She approached me while I was alone and drugged and had no one to speak for me or my rights. My next (and final) hospital encounter with her thankfully occurred with my family in the room. She breezed in and told my mother that she had to catch a plane to go see her son because he had gotten in trouble in school and â??you know how kids are.â?? She told us she would order tests and get back to us. My mother was appalled at her lack of professionalism. I was finally diagnosed with severe papal edema and psuedotumor cerebri by my family doctor who had been researching my symptoms and gone above and beyond the call of duty (she also accepted the hospital care and waved most of her additional fees- as I said, she was a saint to me!) Upon discharge from the hospital I was required to have a follow up with Reznik. I spent HOURS in the waiting room (despite being on time for my appointment) and dealt with extremely rude staff before finally being seen by Reznik. She came into the exam room, did basic reflex tests and checked vitals, sat down and said â??So, what were your test results?â?? I was shocked and appalled. The whole reason I was there was to follow up on the results of the tests she supposedly ordered. After telling her I didnâ??t know as I am not a doctor she said I would have to come back for another visit to get the results. As I left I was told she did not accept Charity Care- and since I respected that this was an out-patient office visit in her private practice, as much as it galled me I paid the $400 for the visit. (FOUR hundred dollars to get my pulse taken and be told to come back laterâ?¦) It did not occur to me that not accepting charity care meant she could refuse it for in hospital visits as well as out-patient- so I believed my debt with her was settled and went to my family doctor for follow up. It was then that I found out, from my family doctor, that this woman had such a horrible reputation, the hospitalâ??s resident neurologist went back behind her and reviewed my test results (at no charge to me) and sent them to my family doctor. This is the only way I actually found out what was wrong with me and how to treat it. Sometime later I received a bill from Reznik for SIX HUNDRED dollars for the in-hospital exam. I spoke to her office manager, telling them I could not pay it. I was furious that they wouldnâ??t take the charity care and fought and fought but finally said I could give minimal payments (to avoid going in to collections). She refused- said I had to pay in full or at least make payments of $100/mo. (I could barely afford to pay $20/mo.) She has since put me in collections and it is a blemish on my credit. I am in the process of trying to settle with her, as it would take more money to fight it rather than just pay her off. It disgusts and sickens me that I have to give her a dime. Not only do I recommend not seeing this woman- if you or anyone you know is referred to her- run as far and as fast as possible. Medical professionals should be there to help those in need- not bleed them dry and take advantage of them when they are sick and vulnerable.

A compassionate, conservative, competent Physician. I recommend very highly. Impeccable history.

awful awful awful .out of date office.spent more time in the waiting room then in the exam room. Dr. told my husband shes not a radiologist she dosent read x-rays when I asked if she wanted to see a copy of my husbands ct scan!???? really 32 years experince and you haven't learned to read x-rays? Staff has no clue what they are doing either

Staff is unorganized and doctor yells at them in front of patients. I was in the examining room when the doctor found that I hadn't paid my bill for my last visit, which was a few weeks before â?? I HADN'T EVEN RECEIVED A BILL YET. The doctor said "I can't talk to you anymore now" and walked out of the room right in the middle of helping me. Staff came in, embarrassed, to say that she would not treat me until I paid (once again, I hadn't even been billed). My auto mechanic is more caring and less money hungry than this doctor.

I would strongly recommend this physician to anyone. And I have.

I was sent to this doctor from workmans comp for a brain injury. She wouldn't listen to what I was saying she just kept cutting me off. She wouldn't look at me records cause she said "they did nothing for her" . She answered my questions with snotty short remarks and rushed me out of the room without giving me any recommendations. We also waited over an hour in the waiting room and we could hear her yelling at her staff and talking about her patients through the window. We trusted her dealing with a brain injury and it was a waste of time!!!

I have never seen anything like this. My teenage son suffers from migraines. We went to Dr. Reznik, and she seemed pleasant and attentive, but didn't seem to have a great sense of how to help my child, which I found frustrating. However, when I called to make a follow up appointment, the staff was beyond nasty - saying my insurance didn't cover the last visit. They refused to talk to me, even though I said we have had the same insurance for 20 years, and we have never had a problem. The one woman was literally screaming in the background that the only way they would talk to me was if I came in person. I asked for a copy of the bill, they refused. I was never anything but calm, and told her I had no idea what was going on. Needless to say, I immediately hung up the phone, and called my insurance, who gave me the check number and the date they had paid the visit in full. By the way peeps, the initial visit, in which lasted 20 minutes, was $550.00. Nice, eh?

I am a patient that suffers from migraines and I went to Dr. Reznik office for my first time. When I walked into the office at 9am, the doctor was arguing with her employers. I thought the arguement would have stop once I walked in. However, it continued witch therefore my headeahe got worst. When I was called in to see the doctor. I felt the doctor did not give me enough time to explain all my symptoms and rushed me out the room to go take care of another patient. This was my worst experience I ever had with a doctor and I will never step foot into her office again.

Dr. Reznik was thorough in her examination and also in her review of my history and current medications. She is extremely professional and caring.
