Recently had cataract surgery. Dr. Epstein and his staff made me feel comfortable, confident, and much less stressed. All options were explained thoroughly. And the surgery itself was exactly as described: pain free and easy. I could not be happier and give my strongest recommendation.

Dr. Epstein is a exceptional physician. My cataract surgery was life changing!

Dr. Epstein and his entire staff are an outstanding example of a trustworthy, honest, and caring medical and surgical team rarely experienced. My cataract surgery was smooth and painless and I felt well informed and prepared for the procedure. Simply said, Dr. Epstein is exceptional!

Poor hygiene

I, as well as family members have been going to Dr Epstein for many years and have had cataract surgery by him. He and his wonderful staff treat you like family. Explained thoroughly surgery procedure. No surgery pain at all. Approximately 20 minutes and out the door. He and staff take the necessary time to make sure you understand all that is involved. Am recommending him to everyone I see!

A professional who also knows what TLC is!

tein performed cataract surgery on my eyes. Extremely competent, knowledgeable, patient and compassionate. Anticipated and answered all my questions. Very reassuring. He has a wonderful sense of humor and "chairside" manner.

My experience with Dr. Andrew Epstein of 146 Hazard Ave., Enfield, CT, was stellar. I had cataract surgery in both eyes, and chose the multi focus Reveal lenses. Dr. Epstein‘s office staff is warm, friendly, and very accommodating. I needed to get both of my surgeries done within a month’s time to benefit from having met my insurance deductibles that calendar year. Cheryl, his office manager, was able to fit me in to the surgical center’s schedule. Dr. Epstein is a very kind and gentle person. He is an extraordinarily exceptional surgeon, and he pays very close attention to exacting standards and patient comfort. His bedside manner is perfect. He is a very calm and thorough doctor.I wore glasses all of my life since grade 3, and now I am enjoying 20/20 vision for the first time in my life. I experienced absolutely no discomfort whatsoever. The day after the surgery I was able to see! I had to remind myself to avoid bending and lifting, because it did not feel as though I had any surgery at all. I wish that I could stand on a street corner and tell everyone I saw how ecstatic I am with my cataract surgery performed by Dr. Epstein. I am an artist and my eyes are my livelihood. Dr. Epstein gave me 30 more years to paint!

Dr. Epstein has been our family ophthalmologist for many years. He is very professional and has a staff who is also part of the component. He is worth the wait, if you have to wait to see him as he will spend the time with you when you see him at your appointment. I have great confidence in him and his office staff. Recently had cataract surgery and it was planned with ease ,explained thoroughly, treated and followed up. He is a 5 star MD in my eyes.

I I have been a patient here for several years now and everyone in the office is very friendly and customer service oriented (particularly, Cheryl and Dr. Epstein). I have been wearing glasses / contacts since I was about 10 years old because of farsightedness and astigmatism. I had cataract surgery 3 months ago and opted for the new vision correction lenses, paid a bit extra, but, money well spent! The day after surgery, my vision was 20/20 in both eyes! If you are on the fence and don't want to deal with glasses or contacts anymore, go for the surgery. Dr. Epstein and team were fantastic throughout the entire process!

Dr. Epstein and his staff are great; they were kind, caring and patient. They spent time with me to ensure I understood my diagnosis and procedure. The office even followed up with me to make sure I understood my medications and to give me a savings card. I would (and I do) recommend Dr. Epstein to my family and friends.

Wonderful Doctor and fabulous staff- he is definitely worth the wait- and it could be a bit long but so worth it- He is very compassionate and easy to talk to and his staff are great. I would highly recommend him you will not be disappointed.
