Dr. Andrew Scott Glass, MD

Dr. Glass is a puppet that takes his orders from workman’s compensation instead of putting his patients first! He was perfectly OK with letting me walk out of his office in serious pain because that is what Workman’s comp wanted! He took an oath to help people in need and he sold himself to the devil rather than fulfilling that requirement! He should be banned from working with people! Oh and let’s not forget his arrogance! When I began to ask questions he said I was becoming hostile!! One more thing “Don’t shoot the messenger!”

i called to make an appointment to see Dr. Glass as ne patient, but was not granted, because he doesn't accept Medicare as my principal insurance. i have FEBCBS as well WHY?

Dr. Glass is professional,kind and understanding. He is considered one of the top surgeons in the South Jersey area.

He is arrogant beyond belief. He Walked in asked me was I going to have surgery or not and when I started asking questions he became visibly annoyed. When I told him I was seeking a second opinion he said don't come back. I understand that spine surgeries are complicated and that problems can occur after surgery. However I have no confidence that Dr. Glass will have the patience or compassion to help me through a normal postoperative course much less if there are any postoperative complications.

On my first visit to Dr. Glass, I was very frustrated with the wait time in his office. But when he sat with me and my husband, he took 40 minutes answering every question we had about the surgery. He made sure that we were satisfied with the information and we never felt rushed. (that explained the long waiting time to me). I had L4, L5, & S1 fused. My recovery was amazingly quick and 14 months later I've ridden my bike 46 miles in 3 hours, I lift weights and do yoga and jazzercise with no pain. I would recommend Dr. Glass to anyone with a back problem.

I found Dr. Glass to be cold hearted with my back problem. Just came right out and said, You're a High Risk! Lose weight, and maybe I can do surgery. But, when he was walking out of the room, turned to me and said, "I've done surgery on heavy people". So, I guess he didn't want to help me. I have a very serious back problem, and thought that he would help me. I felt my our first visit that he didn't like me, I don't know why, because, I never felt this with any other doctor. So, like I said, he's a very COLD HEARTED DOCTOR. And he thinks he's GOD. I'm in Chonic Pain 24/7. So, now it's to a pain management doctor.

I would never recommend this physician. To date, I have seen this doctor on four occasions; the wait time on the most recent visit was over two hours. I did not select this doctor; I had the misfortune of being injured in the workplace and was directed to Coastal Physician Group by an insurance group. It seems the only consideration with my treatment is appeasement and compliance with the insurance company criteria. It would seem reasonable, that a person be given the time and opportunity to heal from multiple injuries. I thought only certified doctors wrote orders; however, in this office, the staff (coordinators) takes it upon themselves to to issue orders and notes?? Ask yourself one question before deciding to use this group~will they treat me and my medical issues to the best of their ability, or will they merely run through the motions to satisfy an insurance carrier? My health is precious and unfortunately, it has been compromised by this physician group.

Great doc. Would highly recomend to my friends. Fixed my back after years of pain.
