Dr Hay has been providing eye exams, cataract monitoring & surgery for many years to my entire family.

Dr Andy Hay is an excellent doctor, who goes out of his way to discuss any problems or treatment necessary. He is very professional , returns calls promptly and his staff are always courteous

I visit Dr. Hay's office since years. Not only me, but my whole family are visiting him. He is a very busy doctor, but has all the time an ear for something else. We love him and Cheryl at the entrance, very much.

Stayed in the waiting room during the appointments for my wife for three years. What she would tell me he said made no sense. Finally insisted on sitting in on one of the appointments. Immediately found her a good eye doctor, she had her cataract surgeries and is doing fine. Not one thing he said was verified by the doctors in the other practice.

Dr. Hay is very thorough and performs many tests to follow my eye conditions, to ensure any changes are detected. I'm a candidate for glaucoma and have cataracts growing so I appreciate the attention he pays to my eye condition at each visit. He's personable, professional, and competent,and Cheryl, his assistant, is very pleasant. I'm very happy I have Dr. Hay following my eyes' condition.

He used to be the best. Now I go in for a checkup and he yells at me when I ask questions. Doesn't seem to have time to talk. Is he under a lot of stress in the last year?

I've been a patient of Dr. Hay for approximately one year. Dr. Hay has always been polite and I have never had a problem with him

He don't want any question about your condition and his treatment to you at all. If you ask him any question, he gets rude. His staff and himself is the most rude and manner less person( have not seen them smile with in the entire time of my visit almost 2-3 years in every 3-4 months

Dr. Hay is very rude! He has no bedside manner at all. He does rush you in and out but does not rush to send a bill. My mother had been going to him for years and when I finally started to go with her I noticed how very rude he was and how he handled her . Most of time he seemed to be irritated. I had asked him to fill out some paperwork so that I could get a handicapped sticker for my Mom and he refused saying he did not have time. I took this same paperwork to our Primary Physician and she filled out the paperwork immediately. I would definitely NOT recommend Dr. Andy Hay to anyone.

Dr Andy Hay is an amazing doctor and surgeon. He is extremely intelligent. I just had two very successful cataract surgeries (2 different times both using Dr Hay). Dr Hay spent much time with investigation and review of my case to insure successful results. I felt he truly cared about my eyes and wanted the best outcome for me. His reception office staff a is very kindhearted, caring and easy to work with. Wait time was normally 5-10 minutes. I highly recommend this doctor.

Technically he knows his stuff, but I'm looking for another doc anyway. He doesn't listen & his receptionist stinks. He has about 10 bright lights in the waiting area that are bad for dilated eyes, but he doesn't care & won't turn any off or dim them.. I had an appointment written down for a wrong date once & when I asked the receptionist later when I rescheduled why she didn't call to see where I was (I would have come right in) her response was that Dr. Hay doesn't want her to do that. (??) Dr. Hay doesn't listen to me and rushes me in and out.

At first, I thought Dr. Hay was caring. But, on my second visit, he rushed me out and did not seem to care at all. It was clear to me that he no longer wanted to be bothered with me, for some reason! I was humiliated, and sad. He referred me to a specialist about a problem, but made it clear He did not even want to give me an eye rx so I could get new glasses. He was concerned I would come back and say they did not work. He told me to go to Walmart. Did I say or do something wrong? I cried when I got home and now have to go somewhere else to have another eye exam!

I've seen this doctor twice. Neither experience was good. He was rude to me. He kept shoving my head into the head rest and screamed at me to keep my head still. A little hard since he was the one moving my head. My eye problem got worse with the meds he prescribed. I went to another doctor and had much better results.

I came to Dr. Hay on referral from my GP. He has always been pleasant and my care has been excellent. He has shown real concern and has always been there when I needed him. HIs receptionist is awful.

He knows what he is talking about. Seems to be a complete examination. You can tell he try's to address your concerns. Good follow up and explains the problem clearly.

Dr. Hay has saved my eye several times dues to infection.

Dr.Hay prescribed an eye drop that burned my eyes and when I told him that,he said sometimes it comes with an accepted risk,to which I replied its my risk,not yours,and so its unexcepatble to me.However after useing it more then once it has permanently harmed my eyes.I only needed my glasses to read,but now I need them to see all the time.So I dropped him and he had me sign a release form I guess so as not to sue him later on,of which I would not do that,cause once the damage is done whats the sense.End of story

I had not had to wait past my appt. time to see him. He answers all of my questions. He gives a very thorough exam. Has a great staff.

Dr. Hay removed my cataracts and did an excellent job. He and his receptionist are pleasant, kind and caring. I have never had an experience like the bad ones chronicled by other patients.
