Dr. Angela Michele Marshall, MD

Most of the reviews on this site are old. I've been going to Dr. Marshall for about 10 years. Before the pandemic, she was understaffed. But since opening up again after the pandemic, she has hired more staff who are very attentive and very knowledgeable. Dr. Marshall is one of the rare breeds of doctors today who takes time to learn about her patients. She schedules follow up visits to ensure the health path she has set one on is working out. She is kind and smart and never minimizes the patient's complaints. She takes every patient seriously and tries to find appropriate and effective solutions. If you have to wait to see her in the waiting room, it is usually because she does not rush her patients. Her nurse practitioner, Julienne, is always available, is very knowledgeable about medicine, and is kind and friendly. I cannot recommend this practice more highly.

Dr. Marshall is good but not good enough to stay. Staff is well understaffed. Silver Spring location is a joke. I waited almost 2 hours for my appointment. A hour in the waiting room, then another 45+ minutes in the patient room. I had 2 test done and never got a phone call about the results. Its a shame when you do call the office during office hours, it goes straight to voicemail. Last straw was when the lady in charge of billing lied to me about a bill that was covered by insurance which she told was not!! Ever since the move from Medical Park Dr to Dennis Ave this practice has gone down hill.

It's been a long time since I've gone to a doctors appointment where the Dr. took the time to talk with me. Not only was she respectful and compassionate, she listened to me thoroughly, she allowed me to ask questions and took the time to thoroughly explain what my conditions were until I fully understood, and she provided her suggested plan of action and explained why we were taking that course and not another. She is also huge on preventative care. I am thrilled to have found a Doctor that is not only thorough and highly skilled, but one that is empathetic and humane. Thank you, Dr. Marshall!

Test results should be verbally provided and discussed by either a M.D. and/or a P.A. to patients. NOT from medical assistants nor, office staff.

I have been trying to call since last week for my results. It's "press 1" for this and "Press 2" for that, then it takes you into another set of "Presses". Week two and I have not been able to get my results. I have been coming to this doctor for over 5 years, have never met the person called "Dr Marshall", I think it's just a name on the door. I liked the last doctor I recently saw but this results thing is really pissing me off. I don't know if the office shut down or what because the staff at Holy Cross was trying the call the day I was there and had the same problem with Press 1, then when you get there you have to press another number and it's a never ending circle.

The practice has recently moved. While the front desk service has improved, getting time with Dr Marshall has gotten worse. I waited one hour before she saw me and then tried to rush out after 10 min. I have emailed and called her regarding my health and have yet to receive a response back. While she is a nice person, she needs revisit the oath she took and become a real doctor who is responsive and cares for her patience.

I have been a patient of Dr. Angela Marshall's for over seven years. The front desk staff is highly professional, courteous and very pleasant with every visit. I am very comfortable speaking with Dr. Marshall or anyone else on her team. Following her advice has led to a normal glucose level (no meds for diabetes anymore), lost 40 pounds and asthma is in check. She is not only a wonderful doctor, but a genuinely nice person.

A friend referred me to Dr. Marshall and it was the best gift I've received in a long time! Modern, up-date, great staff! The PA's are really good too!!

Glad my friend recommended me to this practice. I see the Physician Assistants for most matters and ask for an appointment with Dr. Angela Marshall when I believe its necessary. I'm proud and thankful for the service they render. I've been to this office for probably 10 visits and never had a snafu that made me resent being here. Ok, maybe a tiny slip up here or there but who is perfect?

Dr. Angela Marshall is an extraordinary physician, and I would highly recommend her to others. She is extremely patient; listens well and answer questions with great detail. I really admire the amount of time she spends with each patient; there is definitely no rushing during her visits/exams. In addition she has excellent â??bedside mannersâ??, and truly cares about her patient. This is my far one of the best physicians in the DMV! 5 Gold Stars for Dr. Marshall!

Comprehensive Women's Health is the best office to get quality and professional care. Dr. Marshall is a doctor that cares about her patients. She takes time to listen to your questions. I have several health issues and I am taking several medications and Dr. Marshall keeps a good record of my medications. She continues to have me report to her any changes with my health and she makes the necessary changes with my medications. Dr. Marshall is the best. I like the Women's Wellness Partners Blog that is sent to my email. The information that is sent through this blog has not only been beneficial to me but I have been able to share some of the information with friends that may be experiencing problems with that particular topic. Over all this is a great office with professional and kind staff that cares about their patients and I recommend Comprehensive Women's Health to others.

I was satisfied with Dr. Marshall when I saw her but I was dissatisfied with the office's heavy reliance on PAs. I am relatively healthy and have few occasions to visit or contact my PCP during the year but for the most part , when I did I was shuffled to the assistants. If I wanted to see a PA, I would make an appt. with one. I believe that it is important to build a rapport with your PCP for the benefit of your overall health. In the past, I have had a good rapport with my PCPs and our history of personal interaction was useful when issues popped up. As I watch my relatives deal with chronic health issues, I am realizing how important it is to have a physician who takes the time to listen and communicate directly with her patients. Also, I was also not satisfied with the response I got from the office when I called with what could have been an emergency. If I were just rating my interaction with Dr. Marshall I would give a higher score but the overall experience was not one that I feel was in the best interest of my long term health.

Dr. Angela Marshall and her assistant Keisha are the best, I have been with them since their beginning Now they have 2 locations - Silver Spring and Bowie Maryland. Their is now help for men. This practice is phenomenal and a blessing. They are very careful with your health. In my years of searching for a primary care, I am so blessed that this practice has come along. I also love Dr. Christina Neal and Dr. Selinda Salazar. Comprehensive Women Health is the greatest! Thank you God!

I have never been more disgusted with a doctor's visit in my life. I had an appointment as a new patient for a physical at 2:45. At 2:35 I called the office as a courtesy to inform them that I would be 10 minutes late. They informed me that I have a 15 minute grace period (after looking up my profile) and that at after 3:00 my appointment may not be guarantee. I arrived to the office and signed in at 2:58pm. I was told that Dr. Marshall would not be able to see me. I informed them that I was within the alleged grace period and things should be fine. They essentially told me too bad so sad. I had the option of going back to "establish a relationship with the doctor" or rescheduling. Mind you, I booked this appointment two months prior. Not only had I taken 3 hours of personal time to leave my job for this appointment but I was refused service for being 13 minutes late (even after informing them). Let me ask you Dr. Marshall, is this communist China? This is not how any doctor should operate let alone a women's doctor. I will be notifying Carefirst Blue Cross Blue Shield and every review forum out there. No one living in the United Sates should be subject to that type of treatment. The entire practice should be ashamed, including the front desk receptionists who clearly have no concept of business practices and health care in general.

Best experience with a physician's office I'ver ever had (and I'm 43, so I've seen a few). I saw Kristina Neal -- she was caring, warm, non-judemental, and interested in what i had to say. I've referred several medically phobic friends and all agree that Ms. Neal and Dr. Marshall are both fantastic. Office staff were all professional and kind.

Dr. Marshall is a very gracious woman with a good bedside manner; however, her diagnosis do not always seem great for anyone with something more serious than a small, easily fixable problem. Dr. Marshall sources out to her interns one of whom is wonderful and one who gave me the most horrific treatment in an office I have ever had.The staff has some good people but overall is extremely unprofessional and as one reviewer said, does not seem to understand how to work with emergency situations which could mean life or death. It is very untrustworthy.Were this only for Dr. Marshall, I would be able to leave a somewhat better review, but the office really affects my judgement. I had been going to Dr. Marshall for a few years and after some serious issues could not take the staff anymore. It's really too bad.

I had a wonderful experience with CWH. I was able to get a same day appointment, which kept me from going to urgent care. It was one stop shopping-- I got my prescription right at the office and was in and out in 45 minutes. Very friendly staff. Would definitely recommend!

I saw Dr. Marshall last month as a new patient and had a very different experience as compared to some of the people who have previously reviewed the practice. The front office staff was courteous and thorough. There was a bit of a wait but this is understandable given that this is an internal medicine practice. I imagine that they see a lot of patients, just like myself, who want to have the same time and care provided to them. When I got to the back office, it seemed a little hectic but otherwise, my vital signs were taken promptly and I waited for about 20 min in the exam room before being seen. Although I was coming in for my annual physical, Dr. Marshall took some time to address my concerns and did clarify that we may need to follow up at a later date to be thorough. My labs were performed in the office, which is very convenient, and I obtained my results within one week. I did have to follow up but did so without a problem. I made my appointment with one of the PAs and was very impressed with how thorough and caring she was. Overall, this is a fantastic practice and I will be returning. I would advise others to experience it for yourselves!

Dr. Marshall seems to be so nice and knowledgeable, but there is something serious wrong with her support staff. I had an emergency situation---truly life or death. New diabetic who's ran out of medicine; had an appointment which was 15 minutes later than what was on the books. I was told very nonchalantly I would have to reschedule. No one even took the time to hear the situation. Very, very disappointed.
