Yes, it's true, this guy is not professional and doesn't care. He should definitely retire. I believe he has mental illness himself, along with being just a plain miserable person. Surprised Rosecrance accepts him. Highly warn against seeking help from this man, he will ruin any chance you have at legitimate treatment. Please beware and listen to the reviews.

Dr D'Souza is among the worst of the worst. He told me he did not care if I liked him, he told me I could sue him, he said he had plenty of money. He was dirty, unkempt, fingernails greasy and he picked his nose non-stop. Terrible.

he is awful doctor . misdiagn. talks to much about him . has no respect for others.

I have seen Dr D'sousa many times over the years. Most of the time, he doesn't ask questions or if he does, he doesn't listen. He doesn't change my medications unless I specifically ask him. Then he starts asking me what is going on with me. He is extremely moody. I've even heard the other employee's speak about his mood swings. Maybe he needs his medications adjusted? Very rarely have I spent more than 5 minutes with him in his office. If I could afford it. I would be going to Dr Wight. I had him years ago and he actually had conversations with me. He used therapy as well as medication.

Dr. D'Souza helped me bring my life together from severe depression and anxiety. Without his help in my most critical time, I would not have survived. Hi down to earth behavior may be misinterpreted as not very sophisticated but has big hart and always made time to listen to my problems and guide me though my rough time. I thank Dr. D'Souza and his staff for all their help .

Never see this doctor for anything because he has/had a drinking problem. He saw me me over 30 years ago. I was hospitalized yet he broke client/doctor privilege by giving information to another physician without my consent. He should understand this is unethical and violates his oath.

I never had a problem with the doctor. The problem with him is moving his schedule and putting of seeing him. If that does happen he does call in a r/x until your new date to see him. I feel for $50 is what he charges me is very reasonable. He is always friendly. Listens to my concerns. I have see many doctors in his field and feel he is the best. I feel most who do not like him is because they try to work the system and fake problems to get on disability. Which I know he objects to. Or what medication to get high or sell on the streets. Remember these people who write these review have pys problems. I see him for sleep issues. A good friend of mine is a doctor in Wisconsin. He will tell you this review is not unusual in this field. I have seen the good doctor for about 10 years 4 x's a year.

His office looked like it was from the 70's, the patients waiting to see him were questionable? ( Like using the system.) He was sarcastic and couldn't give answers to questions that were direct. Laughed at the patient when confided in him about concerns. Blamed the patient for their prescribed pills they were taking, but got the prescription pad out to write out 4 more prescriptions. He hand writes his notes-Really? is this the 1950's or 2014. He also couldn't read the counselor's hand written notes-great communication for a psychiatrists to write prescriptions for their patients from the counselor's advice. He said he can't admit patients to a hospital-gee wonder why? Pretty sure this doc is riding the insurance agency's of patients on Medicare until he retires, while ruining patient's brains and organs.

On a good day Dr. D'Souza is abrupt and curt, writing you a prescription before pushing you out the door. Dr. D'Souza does not welcome questions -- he rolled his eyes and gave a loud sigh when I simply asked him if my medication had any side effects. He told me not to worry, but didn't answer my question. On a bad day, Dr. D'Souza is aggressive and profane. In my last visit, he cussed at me and his secretary, a behavior most unfitting for a "professional." In general, he seemed in a tizzy, drowning me out to yell about things quite unrelated to me or my appointment. I would approach Anthony D'Souza as a psychiatrist of last resort. He is unhelpful, uncaring, rude, and you're probably in better hands with anyone else available to you.

Would not treat or diagnose my son even though he is a doctor qualified to do these things. Refused to help. Would not speak with my child and was not interested in him as a person or patient. My son aptly named him "Dr. Useless." We are seeing another Doctor with fabulous results.

He is an awful Dr,who just throws medication at me and sits in his chair not listening.the reason I know this, is because he will ask me the same thing over and over from visit to visit.I tell him what he gave me didn't work he just increased the dose.I tell him I do not want antidepressants bc of the weight gain and withdrawal.and what does he throw at me.more!he makes me so uncomfortable and I honestly feel he has made me feel worse.all I was asking for was help with my sleeping issues.I'm switching to another Dr.I decided this after the 2nd time he wrote me a prescription for a strength of medicine that doesn't exist.and when I told him he called me a liar.be careful with him ,he doesn't listen to your issues. And now he refuses to prescribe a medicine he prescribed before to me.

He yell's at me about other patients and they have done;also say's to me "i'm not your drug dealer,I leave out of his office crying instead of me walking out happy and pruod of my accomplishments............ BAD DOCTER

This Dr. is rude rushes through the appointment. He Refuses to work with my primary Dr. Refused to change meds even though there were serious side effects. Told me to go home and take what he prescribed because a med change would not help because all meds have same side effects.

Dr. D'Souza does a good job listening to my concerns and is willing to adjust as needed. I am comfortable talking to him and his knowledge of medications is very good....

I ASKED TWICE FOR NON-TIME RELEASE AND TWICE WAS GIVEN THE WRONG ONE.

After seeing this man for several years, he turned on our family and will not see us anymore. It was a horrible experience and makes me question his sanity at this point. He was offended because I sought help outside of his office by obtaining another opinion for one of my children. This was such an upsetting thing to him, he immediately dismissed what I thought was a strong doctor/patient relationship and told us to not come back. He accused me of arguing with him, which I did not. He told me I should have taken my son to a child psychiatrist if I had additional concerns, but he refused to refer us to anyone. During the past 9 months I had asked him for help in dealing with my son's issues, but the only recommendation that he gave was to meet with a counselor, which we did. That counselor saw that my son was not getting the psychiatric care that he needed, so he referred us to someone else. I fully intended to continue seeing Dr. D'Souza for the rest of my family, but when we had an appointment with him, he mocked me, even as I explained how hard the last 9 months had been, especially since my father had unexpectedly died 2 months ago. This man has no compassion and will appear kind until he feels you have betrayed him. He truly should seek help from one of his colleagues for his erratic behavior. Children should ABSOLUTELY NOT be taken to him... My kids were shocked to hear that the doctor that they knew and trusted for so long did not want them to come see him anymore. It is heartbreaking and they feel rejected by someone they truly cared for. This man's pride is more important to him than the well-being of his patients, even children. We always treated him with kindness, were on time with our appointments and payed our bills. I have never been demanding of his time or made any unusual requests of him. There was no reason for this to happen. Perhaps it is time for him to retire.
