Dr Barri and his staff took care of my cataracts in both eyes over the last year by surgically implanting new lenses. Every aspect of the process with them was efficient and very professional. I highly recommend Dr Barri.

an hour ago Had a terrible experience there. When I asked for my medical records, three times I was told to talk to the tech to get them. Then the tech told me to talk to the front desk. Since that was the fourth request I made, I got upset. She left to find out what the issue was. Then Dr. Barri came in and stood over me angrily berating me, then asked me to leave. Turns out my records were a mere 2 pages. It should not have been such a monumental task to get my records. They should have apologized instead of bullying me.

I was so lucky to be treated by Dr Barri. I had excellent care.

Loved this Doctor and his Staff. Went for an appointment Dr. Barri was able to see me after only a short wait. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the staff was that met with me before Dr. Barri came in. Dr. Barri was kind, did not take too long and even followed up with me after the appointment- which most doctors do not do.

I always get great treatment here. Dr. Barri and could not be kinder, and they've solved some tricky issues I've had! Wish I could give 6 stars!

Dr. Barri was the first doctor to diagnose me with astigmatism. Correcting this has been huge for me as I have suffered with migraines for many years and they are now less frequent and less severe. I would most certainly recommend Dr. Barri.

Staff was friendly and helpful. They take time to listen. Doctor was less helpful and was condescending when I described my symptoms. This visit did not inspire confidence as I was told just to ignore my symptoms. I will be seeking a second opinion.

I went to Dr. Barri after seeing other Drs. for treatment of glaucoma. He monitored me closely for several months, determining that the drops that were previously prescribed, were not necessary. He continues to see me every 3 months and I'm still "drop free"! The staff there is efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. I feel very assured that my vision is getting the utmost care and highly recommend this practice

Went to see Dr. Barri because my cat scratched my eye (#catproblems) and I was in crazzzzy pain. Staff was awesome! They got me in to see him that same day and brought me eye drops in the waiting room to numb the stinging/burning feeling before my appt. Only had to wait about 10 minutes to see Dr B. and he put a contact lens on to help heal the problem. So happy he could take me as a new patient so quickly. Jeez Maria! I would have had to go to the ER and wait several hours to be seen otherwise... and my pain was insane. Thanks Dr. Barri!

Dr. Barri diagnosed an eye condition that was undetected by my previous eye doctor. Thankfully I am being treated and feel extremely confident in Dr. Barri - also a wonderful, competent staff.

Staff will not return calls. Billing will not work with insurance companies.

I was referred to Dr. Barriâ??s practice through several friends who had been receiving treatment from him for years. Upon entering the office, I was greeted by friendly and welcoming staff who put my fears about entering a new practice at ease. The technicians explained each process as it took place. Dr. Barri was kind, patient, and professional. He took the time to make sure all of my questions were answered. He was knowledgeable without being condescending and explained the plan going forward for my treatment. My questions, which ranged from insurance concerns to my follow up appointments were answered by the front office staff all of whom were professional, compassionate, and above all well informed. After visiting the optical shop, I felt confident that I would have the correct pair of glasses to assist me with my vision issues. I look forward to my next visit with Dr. Barri.

I found it refreshing when I called the office to be greeted by an actual person; versus an automated recording. From this point on, my concerns were acknowledged and addressed both by the technician and more importantly by Dr. Barri. I had been experiencing multiple symptoms that were vague at best, but after discussing this with Dr. Barri he was able to discern what was the root of the problem. I was referred to this office through multiple family members and after much thought, I now know that I made the right choice.

Not sure why that person wrote such a terrible experience with Dr Barri..I have been seeing him for eye issues and glaucoma testing etc for two years and the staff are the nicest people and always always get me in asap if i have an eye issue...I find Dr Barri very nice..he is busy since he tries to get everyone in to see him instead of making them wait weeks or months...even if i am an emergency visit I dont wait long...this office and staff are the nicest i have been too and the Dr very nice and spends plenty of time with you more then any Dr and he is busy and never blows you off........I would say if you need and eye dr go there...do not beleive the negative imput

I was referred Dr. Barri since several of my close friends and colleagues in the Mystic, CT area are patients of his. I found the entire office experience to be excellent, as I had been promised. Also, several of my friends have been surgical patients of Dr. Barri's and received outstanding treatment and results. I would highly recommend his practice.

Dr. Barri spent a maximum of five minutes in the room with the patient and his attitude reflected an unwillingness to examine or treat. His incredulity that the patient had been examined by prior physicians seemed to purport his unwelcome demeanor. His bedside manner was atrocious and it seems that Dr. Barri should remember that the cornerstone of patient care is to â??careâ??. Dr. Barri would be wise to reiterate to himself upon entering examination rooms the part of the Hippocratic Oath that states â?¦ â??never do harm to anyoneâ??, because his jaded views will constantly thwart the administration of appropriate care.
