Dr. Anthony P Cucchi, DO

This guy is fantastic. He is very polite, knowledgeable and has a great bedside manner. I wish I would of had my surgery 3 years ago instead of waiting. I have always herd never have back surgery by my friends and family... They obviously never had surgery by Dr. Cucchi. I can’t thank him enough for giving me back my life. He was able to do it minimally invasive and I was out of the hospital in less than 24 hours. His OR and hospital nursing staff were fantastic at McLaren Macomb. Big things are happening at that hospital with all of the new construction. With doctors like Dr. Cucchi I can see why. Thanks doc!

Dr. Cucchi did my surgery at McLaren Macomb Hospital. I had the best experience with him and the hospital. He uses state of art techniques. I couldn’t be happier. My only complaint is that I waited so long with pain to have surgery. Thank you Dr. Cucchi!!

He is the best doctor in MI when it comes to surgery. He is so nice and easy to talk to. Actually sits in the room hears you out and explains what he thinks it’s the best for you. He is perfect example of a doctor that i would do my surgery all over again that’s how much i trust him. Three of my family members got their spine surgery by him and everyone is back to normal and beyond happy with results. Take this doctor you won’t regret.

If you want a Dr to act like he's doing you a favor see this guys. Both he and his resident (not a full fledged orthopedic Dr yet) who assist him in surgery both acted as if they did my husband and me a flavor seeing him. My MRI clearly showed something wrong with a previous surgery and they both asked what they can do for me. The resident who assists him in surgery was sent in first. We asked if he had looked at my MRI. And he did not. When the Dr came in we could see he had an addititude by asking his resident too many questions when we pointed out a serious problem noted by the MRI neuro radiologist he totally blew us off saying he saw nothing wrong. I've sent that CD to 2 others states and both Drs see the error. He's just not Dr enough to be able to try to fix it. And ego got in the way of him saying so. Instead he LIED and said nothing is wrong. Shame on you and your wanna be Dr in training

Dr. Cucchi is, in my opinion, a very pleasant, caring person . His surgical knowledge and skill is remarkable . I would recommend him to all family and friends .

Dr. Cucchi is the best. He takes his time to explain all the different options. He is confident and his surgical skill and results back it up. I am so glad I met him. My surgery was a 100% success. Other surgeons wanted to make a large incision on my back. Dr. Cucchi did it minimally invasive and I was back to work in no time. Thank you Doc!!

Dr. Cucchi spent a great deal of time going over my films, MRI. He did a great job explaining my diagnosis and condition with me. He explained the different options. After I tried the conservative approach without the relief I wanted he did surgery on me. He has excellent bed side manner! I am so happy I had surgery by him! My pain is night and day from before the surgery and now. I am so happy I went to Dr. Cucchi! He also specializes in minimally invasive spine surgery!

What an excellent doctor. I am a new patient of Dr. Cucchi's. I am 5 weeks after surgery and my back is doing so well. The pain is almost completely gone. I had concerns about having surgery but now wished I had done it sooner.

I broke my neck in a car accident and Dr. Cucchi did emergent surgery from a front and back side approach. He did a great job. I was very luck I wasn't paralyzed in the accident. I did have some weakness that resolved after surgery. I am thankful for his surgical expertise and proffesional office staff. I was in the waiting room with three other patient who he operated on and everyone was very happy and plesed with Dr. Cucchi. He may look young but don't let than fool you. If you have a spine problem go and see him.

I had two surgeries on my lumbar spine that no one could fix. I saw Dr. Cucchi and he spent more time with me on my initial visit than the other surgeon did with multiple office visits and two surgeries. Dr. Cucchi said he could help with my back problem and did it Minimally Invasive. He did a two level reconstruction through a one inch incision. I was out of the hospital in one day. I feel fantastic and I owe my life to him. He may look young but he is very confident and has an excellent bed side manner. I understood everything he was going to do and what the other surgeon tried to do twice. Dr. Cucchi is my back surgeon for life! If you have any doubt about your surgeon or want a second opinion go see him. You will not regret it.
