Dr. Anthony John Nehra, MD

I went to 3 other doctors for my pelvic pain and bleeding and they all said it was normal menstraution symptoms. Dr. Nehra was the only one who further evaluated me and suggested a transvaginal ultrasound which showed I had fibroids. I highly recommend him. He is a phenomenal doctor!

I've been seeing Dr. Nehra for over 25 years. He is kind, caring and knows his specialty. I can't say enough about this doctor. He has helped me through a lot I've never met a more compassionate doctor who cares so much for his patients. As far as I'm concerned, Dr. Nehra walks on water.

I was supposed to pick up some pre-meds before a procedure and was told by several different staff members that the office hours in Rochester were Monday and Friday and that I could stop in and pick them up at any time during those two days. I sent my husband, I have no car, to pick them up on his lunch break (45 minutes away) on Friday, only to have him discover that the office was closed. Apparently the doctor asked for the day off and they just closed the office, unmindful of having told at least one patient they would be there. They suggested, upon my call, that my husband drive to MACOMB to pick up the medication. Another 45 minutes. Sure, because he has no job, right? How do you just close an office for a day with NO advance notice and then have nothing to offer but DRIVE FURTHER and try again? VERY unprofessional. Their solution ... how about if they just call the prescription in to a local pharmacy? WHY couldn't you do that in the first place??Besides being made to "hold" on the phone for over 8 minutes, grilled about my name, date of birth, surgery date and address three times, they solved NO problems. I'm really reconsidering having the procedure at all, if this is the level of service they provide.

Me an my daughter both see Dr. Nehra. he has helped us trough some tough times, but is always there, explains everything in normal speak...I just could not recommend anyone higher than I do this man. I have been seeing him for over 24 years, and am impressed with his continued learning and knowledge that he shares with me. He is the best.

Have been going to Dr. Nehra for 18 years and have always found him to be very knowledgeable and professional with a genuine caring for his patients. Highly recommend him.
