Dr. Antoine Milad Adem, MD

This guy pled guilty to charges of fraud. He’s the meanest person I ever interacted with. Run, don’t walk away from this guy. He lost his hospital privelages in dePeres and was censured for forgery by missouri division of healing arts

They got me in immediately. He knew almost instantly what was wrong. Put a pace maker in and I have not had a problem since. That was 2 years ago.

My husband would not be alive today had it not been for Dr, Adem, We have been seeing himfor 20_25 yrs , And I don`t know what will happen when he gone. I can`t hardly even think about it,

Dr Antoine adem is the best Dr out there I have been seeing him over 12 years he save my life seen about 7 heart Dr before him and none would give me a pacemaker but he did never want a different heart Dr thank you Dr adem

Run, Walk, or crawl but stay away from this guy. I’m not sure of his standing with local hospitals, but Does procedures in his office. ( looks to me like a store room) he’s been censured by the MISSOURI board of healing arts for forgery. Check him out on the missouri board of healing arts website. Also google for Court cases.

Honestly this man chooses to not help a patient out because of NOTHING. He is rude and absolute wrong for denying help to someone who needs it! No one should trust this man. He knows nothing!! He shouldn’t be trusted! He said we should call the ambulance since he wasn’t able to do anything. Pathetic. He isn’t a true doctor. He should go back to where he came from because he doesn’t understand what it means to be a DECENT HUMAN BEING!!! Just a forewarning, he will let u stay sick without helping you. He is evil. I bet he doesn’t even have kids because who would do this to someone?????

Staff and Dr Adem are awesome!!

Only thing this doctor cares about is how much money he can get out of patients and insurance companies. My insurance company was billed for all counseling and taking family history and he was in the room maybe 30 seconds! Horrible experience!

Dr. Adem explains what is going on, your condition and he answers all your questions. He takes the time to really and he does perform many diagnostic tests to make sure his diagnosis is correct. He is very kind and approachable. Not many doctors these days really care to understand their patients; however, he does. He is open minded and does not try to force a bunch of pills on you and just treat your symptoms. He really tries to find the cause.

My mom went to him after a podiatrist noticed a weak pulse in one of her ankles. After waiting over an hour in the waiting room, we were taken in a room which a young girl was took my mom's blood pressure & oxygen. The girl had great difficulty figuring out my mom's medication list (4 meds), she had to get someone else to help her. When we finally seen Dr. Adem, he asked if she had high blood pressure, high cholesterol, if she smoked. He then determined that she had met the quota of risk factors to perform angioplasty on her in his own facility that he owns at Des Peres Hospital. NO ONE in this office ever listened to my mother's heart nor did anyone do an EKG on my mother. The only time this doctor touched my mother was feel her feet. We were very concerned about the professionalism of his staff (he berated them in front of us for the amount of time we waited in the waiting room). The doctor did order a doppler test on her legs, which we had to leave and come back an hour later for that. The results of that he said showed my mother had 90% blockage in her Iliac artery and that she had a 60% chance of having blocked arteries around her heart. I had to ask what percentage and what artery. He did not explain anything to us, he just walked us out to the reception desk to schedule the angioplasty.I made appointment for my mother with another cardiologist affiliated with Mercy Hospital. We then went to Dr. Adem's office and requested all office notes and the results of the doppler to be sent to us. Today my mother received his office notes and it is full of LIES!! His notes say that he check my mother's nose, ears, throat, that he listened to her cartoid artery and her abdomen..among other lies. He falsified his records!! He was just racking up risk factors to justify to the insurance company to perform angioplasty whether she needed it or not probably to pay for his angio center. The 2nd cardiologist we seen at Mercy actually used his stethescope and listened to her heart, lungs and cartoid artery. He said her heart sounded fine. That he would order a stress test to be sure, but otherwise she needed to see a vascular surgeon for blockage in her Iliac artery. She did the stress test with the Mercy cardiologist and there is not one thing wrong with her heart!!! We then went to a vascular surgeon who is also affiliated with Mercy Hospital. He took the time to explain to us everything we needed to know, what his test he wanted to do to make sure what we were dealing with before scheduling any procedures. The vascular doctor even called my mother himself after having the test done that he ordered!! We are so glad we did not continue treatment with Dr. Adem!!!! We did not trust him and after seeing the falsified office notes we are especially glad we went elsewhere!!!

Excellent doctor....after having survived a stroke and lost vision....I certainly was blessed with finding a doctor that is so knowledgeable and willing to spend time with his patients.
