I am a young 60 year old female patient; a Yoga instructor and former competetive athlete. I come from a long line of medical professionals and did my research prior to chosing Dr Gupta. After an accident that caused injury to both hips, I tried several different means of improving the damage to my hips via PRP, Bone marrow transplants and stem cells. Unfortunately, the damamge to my hips was too severe for any of the non traditional methods to work. Although they did buy me some time. Finally there was no choice as I became unable to walk without a cane so, I schedule to have both hips replaced within the following 5 months as recommended. I was so pleased with the outcome;p the pain threshold was low and I didnt even need perscipriton meds the first two weeks, taking only over the counter meds. Now, here I am 12 weeks post my last replacment and I am walking without pain, able to do a full squat, have returned to Yoga and expect that over the next 3 months, I will be able to return to my full state of abilities! How cool is this?

Dr. Gupta did my hip replacement. He has great bedside manners and did a wonderful job with the replacement. I live in Athens and no one took my insurance I had at the time. I choose him because of all the great reviews, so glad I did. It was worth the 62 mile drive.
