Dr. Arbie B Baccay, MD

I am a new patient of Dr Baccay, saw him for an annual physical, and was extremely impressed. He is friendly and relaxed, funny, very focused, and unbelievably thorough. He spent about an hour with me and most of that was in the actual physical exam. He checked everything, he explained things in ways that I understood, he told me precisely what I needed to do, he followed up to see that I had done them. I have never seen such a competent physician. But...it is nearly impossible to reach anyone to make an appointment and I can't ever reach a nurse. They just don't answer their phones. I waited on the line for 40 minutes before someone answered the other day and when I complained, she said that "a 30 or 40 minute phone wait was common." Sometimes (like the past few days) the phones don't work at all for incoming calls. And there are other things. A staff person forgot to call in a prescription after my visit and days later, after waiting 15-20 minutes on the phone, maybe more, I spoke with someone who then called it in to the wrong place. As wonderful as Dr Baccay is, I am considering switching to another physician because dealing with his office is very stressful and VERY time consuming. The five star rating I've given is a rating of Dr. Baccay himself. Everything else would be one star, less if possible.

Always a pleasure to see Dr Baccay never have to wait if you have an 300 pm you are called at 300 pm .His bedside manner is what all doctors should strive for. Very professional !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dr. Baccay has been my doctor for about 13 years. He has always made time for me. He has a great bedside manner, and always takes his time to listen to me . He gives me excellent care. I'm so happy to have someone so knowledgeable and understanding caring for my wellbeing. Thank you Dr. Baccay

Had the same doctor for 40 years, the idea of changing to a new doctor is neither easy or pleasant. My old doctor was considered the very best in the area, another reason changing is hard (my old doctor retired). Dr. Baccay came highly recommended and I am happy to say I am extremely happy with him. He takes the time to listen to me and my problems, nails the diagnosis and does it all with a wonderful personality. And he sees me on time and has evening hours. Yes, I am very happy to recommend Dr. Baccay.

Dr. Baccay has well rounded medical knowledge and was able to diagnose my thyroid tumor with a general examination. He gives me more than enough time to explain all my concerns. My yearly physical is actually a physical. Friends I have recommended him to, say they are so happy with the change. Dr. Baccay knows his patients' charts. He also has a great personality.

Dr Baccay is a caring physician. He is always patient and listens to your concerns. I have had to change my PCP due to my insurance plan, but I always return to his care.

He is the first Dr that I met that actually cares (yes cares) about you. He was very thorough and looked into everything I asked him to at length, all of this by keeping a positive approach. He was a pleasure to deal with and made the uncomfortable experience a pleasant one.

He actually spends time with a diagnosis. He asks many questions, and is never quick to jump to a conclusion. He is thorough, and the company he keeps is just as experienced. EVERY referral to a specialist has been a good experience. He is good humored, but takes his job VERY seriously. Our health is the most important thing we have, and I trust mine to the best.

Dr. Baccay has been my primary care Internist for over 13 years. His Dr. Baccay's welcoming personality and ability to put patients at ease is an asset. As an educator I appreciate his listening to what is being shared, establishes a diagnosis and together with you develops a treatment plan. When necessary he makes referrals to specialists who are a â??good fitâ?? for the patientâ??s needs and personality. He is sensitive to my medical needs and if any irregularities arise via lab work, he personally calls me to discuss the results. It is with pleasure that I highly recommend him to my friends.

Not only does he study a present concern but looks into ones past history to come up with a diagnosis. A visit may be short but it is certainly not dismissed quickly.
