Dr. Arthur Gumer, MD

I have seen Dr. Gumer for almost 20 years. He is genuinely caring about his patient and excellent at his profession. I am very fortunate to have him as my doctor to care for me and my teenage daughter now.

Amazing doctor with a calmness any pregnant mama dreams to have. I had a very complicated pregnancy that required a long hospital stay and plenty of knowledge and care to keep my little one in for as long as possible. When the time came I had her via c section and my gosh the scaring was so minimal and so low that no one else could even tell I had a c section. I didn’t get any infections or any need for any additional specialty care post natal. Also a huge plus when having complications early, he never brought up aborting or showed loss of hope for my baby in my presence. I hear this all too often from bad doctors that see no hope when complications like mine arise so early in the pregnancy. Thanks to him I have a happy and healthy 6 year old that the neonatologist said had 0% and if so she would be affected mentally. She is in the gifted program at school and had I not had Dr. Gumer helping me and my baby through such a tough pregnancy, I wouldn’t get to see the miracle before me today! I am confident he can handle so many types of pregnancy situations and would absolutely recommend him for OB care!

Dr. Gummer is a caring, compassionate, excellent physician. Not only is he one of the best in his profession, he is a wonderful person. I can't say enough good things about him.

I've been going to Dr. Gumer for over 15 years, since I moved to Atlanta. I refer lots of women to him. He really cares about his patients, and takes the time to listen to you. You can talk to Dr. Gumer about ANYTHING! It's amazing how much knowledge he has on all sorts of women topics!

I wouldn't see any other ob/gyn for my annual appointment. When I moved to Texas, I actually made it a point to schedule my annual exam when I was back in Atlanta so that I could continue to see Dr. Gumer. He spends time with you and truly listens and cares!

I have been a patient of Dr Gumer's for 16 years. I had excellent prenantal care,he delivered my daughter who is now 15. After careful counsel and consideration he performed my surgery of laser tubiligation which has been excellent no scars and no regrets.
