Dr Agarwala is an excellent surgeon who actually takes the time to explain and answer any questions thoroughly both before and after surgery. One of the best experiences I have had with a Doctor. My recovery was tremendously helped by his guidance and knowledge.

On my husband's 4th time admission to the Emergency Room, we were referred to Drs. Ashish Agarwala and Jason Arellano. During the operation, Dr. Agarwala revealed that the gall bladder was necrotic (dead) and needed to be removed. From the doctorsâ?? first visit through the recovery visit, both doctors patiently explained everything to us. They were supportive and willing to listen to and answer questions. Their bedside manner matched their knowledge and skill in helping my husband recover.

Dr. Admad, Agarwala & Arellano all work as a team. So when you go for visits all of them will know your history and are ready for your procedure. The surgery was quick, efficient and pretty much painless. I also had a hernia repair and that caused more discomfort then the sleeve. I am grateful that these Dr's provided me with the information and seminars to get support. Fear is a factor that could definitely detour you have having gastric surgery. But I have to say I am 9 pounds down one week from surgery, and 48 since I started this journey 6 months ago. I knew this was my only option after 26 years for being over 200 pounds and some days close to 280 I needed to change or my life would change on it's own. Taking charge is the first step, the doctors, dietitians will help you transform your life, one step at a time. I am grateful for this experience.

He's an incredible surgeon with excellent bedside manner! He spent time with me and made me feel really comfortable about my surgery. I would recommend him to anyone!!!
