Dr. Ashish Shah, DO

Excellent Oncology Dept & Infusion Center with exceptional individuals in every task needed as Mom has Large Cell B Lymphoma, an aggressive cancer. She rec'd 4 Treatments, 3 wks apart of 1/2Chemo, 1/2Antibodies & thx to Dr. Shah, Kari & entire staff she is in remission. Lost all her hair; small price to pay. From Day 1 Mom was handled with such heartfelt caring to beat the cancer & ease what it was causing & further damage it could've done to her well-being. We could tell this isn't just a career but "A Calling" for each employee & Dr. Shah. He reassuredly felt confident in his study, knowledge & experience to express that he felt the above particular treatment could tackle it. He spoke to Mom with a caring warmth saying, "I'm recommending for you, exactly what I would offer to My Own Grandmother!" Those words had a big impact in Mom being agreeable to doing it. The care of each one from Kari, to the Bloodwork staff, to BP,etc in Apptmt prep, to scheduling, to spending hours with Mom during Treatment in the Infusion Center & prepping her to get through it were exceptional & made a big difference in how Mom got through this. The fact also that she lives only 20 mins away from such an Excellent TopNotch with latest update of Offerings made a big difference too as she struggles somewhat with mobility & I have a lightweight personal wheelchair for her. Our deepest gratitude to All under Dr. Shah & he himself for this career path they have chosen, studied in & continue to daily exhaust new hopes for cancer patients such as my Mom. Eternally grateful! Life is so precious! They are saving & extending lives. I have been verbally spreading the word of the existence of this great Oncology/Hemotology Atlantic Medical Group right in Hackettstown should the need arise for someone. The personal care & bedside manner & obvious genuineness makes all the difference.

Ashish A Shah is great Doctor that listens to patients and spells out all steps one will go threw when it to treatment plan. His Staff also very helpful when it communication with the Dr. Shah and other doctors they work along with

Dr Shah has been treating me for stage 3 lung cancer since Dec. 2017. I was one of the first of his patients that he used Immune Therapy on. Thanks to his constant attention and relentless research I have now been in remission for almost two years. I am not a very good patient and give him a hard time on many occasions but he never gave up on me even when I wanted to give up on myself. He is an excellent very dedicated doctor and I owe him my life. Thank You Dr Shah

Dr. Shah is a very good oncologist. He is excellent to work with.Recent problem we have had involves his staff and not Dr. Shah. Dr. Shah wanted me to get an MRI fairly soon. I thought someone on his staff would order this MRI. After not hearing anything from the office I contacted Dr, Shah. As soon as I did a member of his staff called me. Only then did I find out I had to order the MRI. We lost weeks because of no contact or follow from staff. Again, I feel this wasn't Dr. Shah's fault!

Waiting for more positive news, I also think Dr McCoys method of drawing blood in Star Trek might be more appealing!

I like this doctor very much because he takes the time to make sure you understand everything and he is very caring

Dr Shah and Allison were lovely. I saw them in Hackettstown and from the moment I walked in I was greeted by warm & friendly staff. The phlebotomists who drew my blood were very gentle and overall the whole process was seamless. Its so refreshing to be a patient where a team works well together and makes the patient feel at ease.
