Dr. Ashok Biyani, DO

Dr Biyani did a laminectomy on my 8 weeks ago and he was excellent ! My first visit with him, he explained everything very well and was very polite . He did 4 spinal surgeries on my husband and we really liked him and had trust in him. I thanked him for helping me . His staff was very friendly also. I would recommend him highly.

This Dr. is not like your typical surgeon. He takes time to talk with you and is concerned even after surgey. Wildwood hospital is the ultimate in patient care as well.

Terrible staff- won't return calls- sarcastic, uncaring and nasty! Went to another doctor. Not helpful at all!

Kept having pain after surgery but Dr Biyani assured me it was "non-mechanical". Yeah- it turned out to be it never healed

He has nurse review you and do all the work.I needed an MRI after the first visit, He waited until after the second visit to schedule. That made a third trip. He knew during the first visit that he couldn't diagnose my back pain without an MRI.He doesn't look at you in the eye, and is always in a hury to leave and see the next patient.He's short on conversation, and acts as if he could care less. I will get a second opinion. This all doesn't mean that he's not a good surgen, I'v yet to let him cut on me.

does not look at patient when talking to them does not listen to patient , insist that you are improving when you tell him its not, putting off more test when its necessary messing up simple surgery no empathy to patient doesnt tell patient what is best for them he ask them what they want ex. meds and work restrictions

Dr. Biyani is absolutely WONDERFUL! He takes so much time and care when explaining every detail of what is wrong, what will be done, and how. He is a fantastic surgeon, and I feel lucky to have had him as my surgeon during my spinal operation in 2003.
